Review: Representatives of the Bradford, PA. - based "Stewart Water Conditioning", (operating under the well-know franchise of Culligan Water), sold me a water filtration system on 2/24/14. I paid for this "In Full" and they cashed the check promptly - it cleared a mere three days later on 2/27/14. At time of purchase, Stewart Water Conditioning told me "We'll contact you within 2 weeks to schedule an installation of your system." ~ This NEVER happened. I telephoned them a total of 4 weeks after they were paid (on 3/25/14)and politely asked whatthe hold up was. I was informed that they "had to order my system as it wasn't in stock." ~ Next, they assured me that I'd be contacted by week's end for the installation.I telephoned again on 3/31 and no one answered. ~ Tried a total of three times throughout the day and no one answered. It is now 4/15/14, a little over 7 weeks from the time they were paid and I still have heard nothing from them. No calls, no arrangements for installation, etc. I called the International Headquarters (Culligan Corporate Headquarters) to file a complaint. We'll see where that goes. At this point, I simply want a refund of my money and do not wish to do business with these people. Obviously, they have misrepresented not only their service, but their product availability. This would be the equivalent of someone trying to sell a car that they don't even own. What kind of Water Treatment company doesn't stock the product they intend to sell and then tells you "they have to order the unit" FOUR long weeks after taking your money? I can say this: The gentleman at Culligan Corporate Headquarters was very polite and I hope he is able to facilitate some resolution to this. I believe he will try. (It is not the fault of Culligan Water and hopefully, the less than stellar service of one franchise will not negatively impact this widely respected name). The bottom line is this: Stewart Water conditioning took my money and made promises that they did not keep.Desired Settlement: I would like a prompt and FULL refund of all monies I paid for the Water treatment system, ($2,432.70), plus interest for the time they "used" my money for whatever purpose they used it for. I also would like this without a any hassles from the company.

Review: I was overbilled and now they are refusing to refund my money. This has happened on multiple occasions. During their removal of equipment they turned my water off with heat lines on and water tank on. The water lines froze due to no pressure in the lines and therefore the lines broke causing damage to my cottage. We called immediately to inform them of this situation. No one returned my call. I called again after returning from the cottage. I was told that my money would be refunded. To this date no one as called about the damage to the property or the refund.Desired Settlement: The amount due for refund is $45.53. I still would like someone to call us regarding the damage to the inside of our cottage. We are unable to return until spring of 2015 due to the significant snow in [redacted] Pa.

Review: Paid $2000 Nov.'09 for a water softener. Had maintenance done yearly, then in Sept.2012 unit needed repairs requiring a month to get parts. We were given a loaner during that time. Cost $159. In July 2013 unit needed more work. Rec'd a bill for $196. Called to complain that unit stops working too often. Serviceman, Kyle Brandt came out to test our water. Said our unit was not adequate to serve our needs and they would offer to "credit us $2000 toward a larger capacity unit for only $2000 more". I have already sent them $50 towards the $196. but feel They should refund that amt. and remove their equipment from our home at their expense. No one from management has called me regarding this situation after several calls. Can you help me?Desired Settlement: See previous letter.
