Cumberland Masonry, Inc.

I hired Cumberland masonry to complete the site work for my garage project and also do the flat work. In the fall of 2015. The garage floor slab and stairs for this project. John was very easy to work with and did a great job. He worked night and weekends to get the job done. A previous contractor had completely screwed up the job resulting in having to have all of the work removed. John got my site back to a working condition in no time and for a very reasonable price. Excavation work was perfect. The concrete crew that did the walls loved the extra space and was thankful for the work performed making the work for them easier and faster to do.
The flat work was done as I wanted it to be. I requested some extra specs in the contract to add to the scope of work, more rebar and support as well as a thicker vapor barrier and they happily agreed to do so. John also used up the materials that were left onsite left by the previous contractor before purchasing new ones. The result was a perfectly flat slab and a job well done. John also made a valuable change to the construction plans that the architect missed on the stairs. Since there wasn't an accurate plan for this part he easily accommodated a change that was a worthwhile addition to the project.
I will be hiring John and Cumberland Masonry to install a pervious paver driveway and a walk way to my home. If it wasn't for Johns work I would not be on track.

The site was tight since there was access from one side only. The previous contractor said it was impossible to work in. John operated the required tools with ease and got the job done.
