I hired Cumberland masonry to complete the site work for my garage project and also do the flat workIn the fall of The garage floor slab and stairs for this projectJohn was very easy to work with and did a great jobHe worked night and weekends to get the job doneA previous contractor had completely screwed up the job resulting in having to have all of the work removedJohn got my site back to a working condition in no time and for a very reasonable priceExcavation work was perfectThe concrete crew that did the walls loved the extra space and was thankful for the work performed making the work for them easier and faster to doThe flat work was done as I wanted it to beI requested some extra specs in the contract to add to the scope of work, more rebar and support as well as a thicker vapor barrier and they happily agreed to do soJohn also used up the materials that were left onsite left by the previous contractor before purchasing new onesThe result was a perfectly flat slab and a job well doneJohn also made a valuable change to the construction plans that the architect missed on the stairsSince there wasn't an accurate plan for this part he easily accommodated a change that was a worthwhile addition to the projectI will be hiring John and Cumberland Masonry to install a pervious paver driveway and a walk way to my homeIf it wasn't for Johns work I would not be on trackAnyone who wants to see the work can contact John at Cumberland Masonry and ask to see my projectI am right up the street from their shopThe site was tight since there was access from one side onlyThe previous contractor said it was impossible to work inJohn operated the required tools with ease and got the job done
