I am a manager of a medical facility that has been experiencing constant issues with our fax and voice lines for over weeks! It has caused us untold time and exposed us to major liabilities due to not being able to have reliable communications to treat communicate with patients and other medical facilitiesNO ONE can figure out what is going on (and they've sent multiple people out and escalated the issue to a half dozen different phone techs)I followed the instructions in the Earthlink Terms and Conditions of Service and requested to be released from my contract and went days before I finally was able to talk to someoneThat only happened because I posted about the situation on Facebook!!! Once I was finally called back, all they kept wanting to do was repeat a bunch of stuff that had already been done! Today, after once again requesting to be released because of worsening problems, the person handling my case changed her mind and decided that I needed to cite a different clause to be released from my contractThis means they get to "reset the clock and move the goal post" to keep holding me hostage and to continue to prevent me from being able to properly run my office and treat my patientsIt shouldn't take having to get lawyers involved to have working phone lines, but it looks like that's going to have to happen next week! I have dealt with some bad companies before, and this is without a doubt the worst! If you have a choice in providers, RUN AS FAST AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN FROM EARTHLINK!!!!!!!!

I was trying to get signed up for Internet service They keep transferring me from person to person to personAll of them was from India that I could not understand half the time When it became time to schedule my installation they told me that I could not have it because I owe Time Warner Not one time did they say to me if you have time Warner in a previous bill with them we can not help you So I hung up call back to speak to a supervisor Supervisor did not let me tell my side of the story Put me on hold got back on the phone and told me that there's no reason why they can't give me service So he transferred me to a tech to set up service and once again by that tech I was told that I could not have service because I owe Time Warner

Since Earthlink absorbed my prior businees telephone company it has been nothing but downhill My complaints include, but are not limited to the folowing:
All calls for customer service are routed to an outsource in IndiaThe outsource cannot answer basic questionsMy telephone bills have increased by a factor of
Among Earthlinks sucharges is one for $for an "Account Detail Fee" that I've been told is their charging me for sending me a monthly bill All calls to customer care, technical support, billing, etc., are answered by an outsourcing company in India I am unable to contact anyone at Earthlink in the United States
