Review: My husband and I own a [redacted] RV that is equipped with a Cummins motor. We experienced severe fuel intake problems on Dec 23rd and took the RV to the [redacted], Va., Cummins location. They looked at the RV, replaced one fuel line and we paid $371.64. On our way back to [redacted], SC, we experienced the same severe fuel intake problem. We took the RV to a local [redacted] repair shop. They found a second fuel filter, replaced it along with the first one which was now clogged and charged us $595.42.I sent an e mail to [redacted], Operations Manager, at Cummins and detailed the concern that we paid his company to fix our RV and they did not and we had to pay another company to do the same work. I asked for some sort of reimbursement. **. [redacted] responded that they located one fuel filter, replaced it, took it for a test drive and my husband was satified with the performance. Therefore, it is our fault that we did not other work was needed, the RV was fixed to our satisfaction and no reimbursement is warranted. I find that to be a very interesting twist. Cummins is the manufacturer of the motor. They are the "expert". How is it the individual's problem in not knowing that a second fuel filter was the problem?I find this totally unacceptable in that Cummins is making the customer bear the responsibility when it is their responsiblity.Desired Settlement: We should be reimbursed the $371 paid to Cummins as they did not fix the problem. If we had been in [redacted] when the problem re-occurred, we would have taken it back to them. However,we were out on I 95 South doing 45 miles an hour, trying desperately to get to our home in [redacted], SC

At this time, I have not been contacted by Cummins Power Systems regarding complaint ID [redacted]. They are a big and arrogant company and I am little customer. It is very unfotunate they have ignored your requests. The obviously do not care about customer service.
