I had Cundiff heating & air install a new gas furnace and AC system . A new system entirely June 9 2017. The system included a 24/7 parts & labor warranty. 2 weeks before the warranty was up the system stopped cooling. I called for a service call . I was told it would be 3 days before they could come out. so much for the 24/7 warranty. After the 3 days a tech came & pumped 4 pounds of refrigerant and said he could find no leaks. 4 pounds! He said they would check it again in a month. The next day I called the service dept and said it has to be a leak you need to find it! A couple of days later another tech came and found a leak in 10 minutes in the new A- coil that is under warranty. we will have to order one. A week later no new a-coil, no word from Cundiff the system quit cooling again. I called Cundiff and was told someone would get back to me. Hours passed and I had to go to work, no word from Cundiff. My daughter called again and said the system was not cooling. A third tech came and pumped 3 more pounds of refrigerant which froze up the entire system. He then wrote up an invoice for his fiasco, he said it would not be billed since it was a warranty but he needed it to get paid. 2 days later no word from Cundiff. I called again and was told I would be called as soon as the service got to his office. Hours later still no call . Called the service director again to which he said he had not arrived at his office yet, When he did he would check on the new coil and call me. Nothing. The next day I called Cundiff and asked to speak to Jerry Cundiff, who ads say you will like the way we do business. the person that answered the call said Jerry was not answering. How about David Cundiff that sold the system to us . He was not answering either. I said I would write a letter if necessary, but ask Jerry to call me. She then said we have you scheduled for replacement of the A- Coil today. Okay first time I heard this what time, She said let me check with our service advisor. Came back on the phone and said we cant get to it till next Thursday. 30 seconds ago she said today. What happened to today? I can only tell you next Thursday. I asked if anyone was at their business that I could talk to. I was told I could speak to a V.P. He came on the phone and promised to get it taken care of today which he did. A tech and the service manager came with the new A-Coil installed it promptly. I asked about the bill #3 tech left. Was told they were sorry about all confusion, they would do better in the future, There would be no bill sent out since the system was warranted, he would make sure of this as soon as he got to his office. Today (Saturday) no way to complain all weekend. PS, complete confusion every time someone came out. Coming first thing in the morning, then no, after 3 in the afternoon. Then show up at 2 and call to say we are here where are you?
