We got an LG heat pump installed in our house about years ago with indoor units We have used it ever since, winter and summer for heating and air conditioning We have saved dramatically on our heating bill due to the high price of oil for the furnace Two years ago we had a sun room built onto our house and had another heat pump installed We especially love the air conditioning for that room since it can get very hot in the summer months We were very happy with the service as well The guys who installed the heat pump were knowledgeable, friendly and efficient Rick (the owner) was also very informative and great for any calls you had regarding the operations of the units We would highly recommend this company for its service and product

We purchased a ductless heat pump system from Cunning Energy in September 2014. We met with representatives from several companies and received quotes from each. Rick Cunning, the owner, met with us. He was very generous with his time, fielded all of our questions patiently and clearly, and provided excellent advice. That crew was so pleasant, took tremendous care while installing the components, worked quickly and so efficiently and left the work areas immaculately clean. Since then we have had two very minor issues. From the time I raised the concern until Rick had a technician on site was a day the first time, and two-days the second time (due to weather). Again, excellent support. Each time Rick personally contacted us to ensure we were satisfied with the remedy. He pro-actively followed up with an additional service call to ensure things were working properly--impressive. And finally, the ** system's performance overall has exceeded our expectations, and importantly, generated considerable savings on our power bill, compared to our electric baseboard heater costs. A competitive quote was received and installation of the new equipment and removal of old oil furnace and water heater was scheduled. The installation crew did a great job with cleaned up upon completion. We're extremely pleased with Rick's team and the heat pump that was installed.
I very pleased to write this customer review based on the exceptional customer experience and end product that we received from Cunning Energy - on all THREE occasions beginning in 2010. When our old heat pump failed we obviously had to replace the unit. Rick and Cunning Energy came and evaluated the old unit, the current HVAC infrastructure, and the requirements that a house of our size would require. Many important revelations were made with Rick's very knowledgeable assessment - he was able to adequately size the compressor needed, which is no small task with so many available units on the market. As well it was determined that the air intake for the existing model we had was undersized - and Rick had an innovative solution to get more air into the unit with very little work required. The upgrade to our heat pump and the increased operating efficiency with adequate inlet air resulted in an average of a 50% reduction in our home heating bill after only one year! And once the unit was installed Rick sat with us to complete the registered warranty card and signed it that day to send back to the manufacturer that day.
On the other two occasions when we required a quick service call Rick showed up on the DAY that I called for the service - incredible! The two minor items were a thermostat replacement - the guys were actually apologetic that I might have to touch up 2" inches of painting as the new module was just a touch smaller, incredible detail and concern for the customer! The second was a drain pipe that was simply knocked out of place (by a hockey bag of course!). It resulted in a new drain pan that was quickly replaced once the parts arrived. Rick's guys are so courteous, knowledgeable, and just get the job done for us. They go right to the problem - they know the product, its functionality, and how to make things right.

We had forced air (oil) so we wanted to know our options for either the heat pump installed on the main floor (in the wall) or to totally replace our oil furnace. Rick Cunning (owner) spent about an hour and a half explaining the differences and our options, and answering our many questions. Of all the quotes received, theirs was the middle of the road. We went with Rick because he was very knowledgeable about the product, took the time to answer our questions, and we felt he was not going to charge us for things we did not need. In fact, we feel his guys went above and beyond!! There were no hidden costs, we were charged what we were quoted. It has been over a year now since we had the furnace replaced with the heat pump and are VERY happy about our choice.
