Review: we my husband and friend went to this bussines looking for a product (an engine for a truck) an hour away from home they had what I need and we purches it. the problem is that the engine did NOT WORK, we did not know if it would work or not until we try it out ,DID NOT WORK,we pay a macanic for this job .to put it in and then take it out!!!!! ,.we took it back for a refund .but instead I got stuck with a instore credit..NOW the problem is I got stuck with a instore credit and no enginei call the (manager his name is adam,)but he said there is nothing he can do !!I found another engine in another place but I NEED MY MONEY TO PURCHES it an d I don't have it ,.Why? because some bussnise got MY MOney! im not trying to be mean but I ned my money and they don't what to payme back my moneyDesired Settlement: I Don't want no figh but I need my money to bpurcges my engine .in this day and with this economy,300 dollars is 300 dollars please talk to this Cunningham brothers company I need my money.

Review: I called Cunningham Brothers to locate and purchase a Yellow car door for a 2000 VW Bettle, I spoke with [redacted] from [redacted] at [redacted]. He told me that he could provide a Yellow car door for a 2000 VW Bettle. He quoted a price of $250 and insested that it be paid for before I could see the part. I said that his price was more than other salvage yards and ask if it included the inner door panel with all other necessary parts, He said yes but he could not quarantee the color of the inner door panel and I said that any color of the inner door panel would be OK as long as the door was painted yellow which he said it was and how was I going to pay. Even if it cost more and but included all parts of the door except the mirror and was painted yellow, I was will to pay the extra $150 dollars because I would not have to paint it and it had an inner door panel. I arrive at 4:30pm on July 8, 2015 to pick up the part I had requested Mr [redacted] directed me to the pick up area. At the pick up area I first saw a yellow-orange door without a inner door panel. I ask the yardman and he said that the door was from a taxi cab from the Carribean. First the color of the door was near the color of the lines painted on highways, an yellow-orange and very thin,like it painted with paint brush , not the facorty color that VW uses on an of their cars and there was no door panel, when I protested the yardman said to talk to Mr. [redacted] and he would "make it right". It was a few mins before 5:00 pm (closing time) the Manger had left before and was not avaiable and Mr [redacted] was on the phone trying to fix a problem with a repair shop about so cracked tanks or something, At 5:00 pm most employess were gone except [redacted], who was locking the doors. When I complained to Mr [redacted], he stated that" he did not quarantee a door panel", after he had asked me what color I needed after I asked if the door price included the inner door panel over the phone 2 days before. And stated as far as the color it was yellow and "he didn't quarantee the paint color either". I told him I didn't want this door and he said I would have "to pay a 25% restocking fee" which I refused to do. So I left very upset, feeling I had been ripped off of since I could have bought the door with an inner door panel that I would have to pay to be painted for $100 dollars. It will cost me $150 dollars to have it painted and an addional $ 50 dollars for the inner door panel.Desired Settlement: I would accept the amount it would cost me "to make it right" The amount would be a $200 credit on my credit card or to pay for the paint job by a professional and a inner door panel in good shape. I don't wish to file a case in small claims court but I will go after if we can't come to an agreement and they "make it right"

Invoice [redacted] was a special order item that was not in stock at our location.Our vendor (another parts yard) told us it was a yellow door and that is what we ordered.We do require payment on special order items up front due to the fact customers will order parts then never show up for them.Our policy is that we charge a 25% restock fee when the customer no longer wants the part to cover freight costs to and from vendor.I am sorry the customer had a bad experience. If the customer wants to return the part in the condition that it was sold he can have a full refund.Sincerely,[redacted]

They did not provide a factory color that they resured me it would be, they lied about the inner door panel, they refused to give me a refund when I saw the product and they demanded a 25% fee to return the product. They did not provide the inner door panel which was part of the purchace. Finally they have no honor and would turn to lies and deceite in order to fill they pockets, over all they are not a business that should be allowered to to business in [redacted] Anyone that that choose to steal and lie for profit should have any licence revoked until they can do business honestly.I could have bought the same door with inner door panel for $100 usd from another salvage yard and was played for a fool by some dishonest people from [redacted] and their partner Cunningham Brothers.If you are reading this I would discourage you from doing business with these people.
