Review: I sent two emails to your company to two email addresses on November **, 2013 as follows[redacted]. I have yet to receive a reply of any kind. I can supply copies of these emails for verification if required.

Today I called at least seven times to three different numbers, and all three had prerecorded messages by the same person saying the system was down due to maintenance.

My issue is this: funds are being debited from my account fraudulently. I NEVER authorized [redacted], user email [redacted] to use my bank account for any purpose. His name appears NOWHERE on my bank checks, and I , [redacted], was NEVER contacted as to whether I would or would not accept these charges. I am therefore NOT responsible for the charges that have been charged to me, and I expect a full refund asap! Also please be sure to close this account immediately, so no further charges will be billed to me.

Following are the ck. numbers you assigned, bank clear dates amounts & last 4 digits of my bank account:

[redacted] 12/**/13 $34.99 [redacted] 11/**/13 $34.99 [redacted] 10**/13 $34.99 [redacted] 09/**/13 $34.99 [redacted]

Thank you for a speedy resolution to this matter.Desired Settlement: Immediate refund of $139.96 and closure of account that I did not authorize.

Dear [redacted] ,

Review: Cancellation process seems to be a complete setup to force you to pay for extra time, also once choosing to pay for a certain time it extends it.I signed up for the website and decided to pay for a 3day membership. I understood that after 3 days that if I didn't cancel then I would be charged for another 3 days. I decided to put in a cancellation order on the 4th day and only expected to be charged the amount of the 3 day membership twice which came out to $8 and some change. I put in the cancellation order and waited for the cancellation code to be emailed but it never came. I did this cancellation process four times and not once did the cancellation code come through my inbox or spam folder. I checked my online bank statement and I have a $21.99 charge pending for a full months membership. I called the customer service number to get an explanation and the guy said that he only showed one cancellation request and that a code had been sent. He was not trying to help me in anyway understand where the mix up was coming from. I asked to speak to a [redacted] and he said that the [redacted] would tell me the same thing and and explain the terms of service then drop the call. I asked several times to speak to a [redacted] and he just told me that the [redacted] did not want to talk to me or take the call. He said that all he could do was give me a free month for compensation. I said that I did not want that and I really needed to speak to a [redacted]. He again told me that he could not let me talk to a [redacted] because the [redacted] was not taking calls from customers at all. Needless to say, the issue was not resolved and it was the worst customer service that I have ever experienced and would just really like my money back. I should have only been charged for two 3 day membership fees which rounded to $9 and I have no objection to that at all. The charge for $21.99 is NOT what I signed up for and its been charged AFTER my cancellation request.Desired Settlement: All I'm asking is to have the $21.99 charged to my card adjusted. I am only responsible for the two 3 day membership fees that I expected to pay which came out to $4.47 each totalling $8.94. Subtracting the second $4.47 from $21.99 is equalled to $17.52. This is all that I'm wanting as a settlement. The $17.52.

Review: Our law firm represents an Internet Access Service that provides email and blog services to children worldwide. Over several recent months, our client's customers (whose average ages are between 10 and 13 years old) were the targets of thousands of unlawful commercial email messages that are adult themed and in some cases, explicit in nature. A review of the email messages confirms that many of them contain significant violations of the Federal CAN-SPAM ACT, including one or more of the following: (1) emails that contain, or are accompanied by, materially false or materially misleading Header Information; (2) emails originating from sender domains that were obtained under false or fraudulent pretenses; (3) emails that contain a subject line likely to induce a recipient to view the message under false pretenses; (4) emails that fail to contain a clear and conspicuous notice that the emails are advertisements or solicitations, a clearly and conspicuously displayed physical address of your company, and/or a clear and conspicuous notice of the opportunity to opt-out or unsubscribe from email from the sender. We have attempted to reach out to Cupid PLC but have been ignored. This is a serious issue that needs immediate attention.Desired Settlement: Our client would like Cupid PLC to cease and desist future emailing to its customers. Additionally, 15 U.S.C. 7706(g)(3), entitles our client to significant statutory penalties for violations of the emails in an amount of up to $157,575. Our client is seeking a pre-litigation settlement sum at a significantly reduced amount in order to compensate it for the harm it has suffered as the result of the emails and to compensate it for its attorneys fees to date (to which it is entitled under statute).

Review: I bought this site to hook up and meet wamen and what I found is the only chat service that I got was girls trying to make a fool of me. what happen was they would say that they are board and for me to meet was to buy another site that they are on to see them strip and dance nude that is not at all of what I was looking for not only that I signed up the platimum plus membership that when I would try to text I would never get a ligament responce. I ended up with wamen to text chat and I would send a message and they were all off line I still would try and nothing. heres is the catch, the site offers so that the members see your profile if you pay another $14.90 I didn,t do it because I didn,t believe of what they were saying their were too many catches. I believe that if I did sign up for the extra $14.90 I would have been set up on a reaccuring bases of a charge a $49.99 a month. well anyways I paid the base amount of $34.99 I called them and explained of what the problem was and they told me that I would a free month. for what? this is real fraudDesired Settlement: refund on my credit card of $34.99

Review: When using any of their sites as a free member, you will receive emails and chat notifications that someone wants to chat or email or contact you. Once you upgrade so that you can talk to these individual, the account may be there and be visible, but it will NOT respond to any messages, chats, E-Mails. the user ID [redacted] on like all of there websites is one of these. [redacted] is another of them (Specifically on the video chat sites). While still on a free account, these ppl seem to attempt to make contact, but it is all fake scripted. On several of their sites, [redacted], saying the same thing every time, on every site, with the same delay during typing, sounds, and appearance of the text in the chat window. No variation. I do not believe a real person could do this.... (And wearing the same clothes, same lighting, etc....) So - they use an unethical practice to cause persons to join their sites so they can talk to people that don't exist. They do have on a few of their sites "Online Cupid" accounts, which if you read the terms and whatnot reveals that you are agreeing that you know that those "Online Cupid" accounts are fictions and do not really exist as they are represented. That is extremely fine print.Desired Settlement: As far as I can see, this will wind up being informational only, but I would like to see a refund for the multitudes of their sites that I either got a trial to (3 or 5 day or whatnot) or in some cases full month long upgrades. $100.00 would be sufficient for me. and they should be required to remove those fake, shill, non-existent accounts

Dear [redacted],

Thank you for contacting customer service and for alerting us concerning this matter.

We will check members [redacted] and [redacted] and deal with them accordingly.

Please be informed that we do not use fake profiles system to generate fake messages.

Our company does not promote the website using this method. We are aiming at the genuine dating and put to use other methods of advertising.

The problem of female advertisers has become very urgent within the site and we are interested in spotting fakes and taking them off our database. We have a large customers' database and unable to check up each profile. If you feel that a member is a suspicious one then please click 'Report' under their profile and we will check that case straight away.

We work hard to keep our site fun and enjoyable and we struggle against scammers on the website.

We would be grateful if you confirm names of the website, exact dates and amounts of the charges you would like us to refund for you and we will be glad to assist you further.

We do apologize for inconvenience caused and looking to hear from you soon.

Review: This dating site is the worst one I have ever used. It is full of fake profiles and scammers. In the first 2 weeks of using this site I was contacted by nothing but scammers who claimed to be in the military, or didn't have a webcam so you could confirm through video chat that they were the person shown on their profile. I never go a response from any of the local men in my area which leads me to wonder if their profiles are even real or just planted there. I would not recommend this dating site to anyone and I have asked that I be removed from their site. Sadly, consumers are bated into these online dating sites only to be bombarded by scammers from Ghana and other countries only wanting money! Buyer beware of this site! It is the worst one I have ever used!!!Desired Settlement: I think if these sites were forced to provide refunds they would weed out all the scammer activity and police their sites to see this type of activity is prohibited.
