To Whom it May Concern,This customer purchased tires from us and had them installed locallyWithin days of delivery we received a call stating that one of the tires had suffered a failure and was not serviceableWe shipped a replacement at no charge to the customerUnfortunately the replacement had to be shipped from a more distant location and resulted in a slightly longer delivery timeThe customer explained that the tire failure had resulted in damage to his wheel and asked that we compensate them for the damageIn order for us to consider this we would need to retrieve tire that failed and submit it to the manufacturer for their inspectionWe offered to bring the tire back at our expense to start this processThe customer refused and hung up on our agentThe customer then opened a dispute for the entire purchase through eBayWe spoke with the customer again and offered to bring back all of the product and refund them in full, as well as open a claim for them with the manufacturerAgain, our offer was rejected and the customer hung up on our agentWe have been more than willing to assist the customer with a reasonable solution to his request, but have yet to be able to establish any cooperation with the customer in order to facilitate thisI would be more than happy to discuss this matter with the customer directly if they are willing to work with us to help resolve the matterI have instructions in our system to have the customer transferred to me directly if they call back inI would be very happy to assist themSincerely, Sean R***Customer Care ManagerDiscount Tire [redacted] ***

2/22/I have made several attempts to contact the customer and left messages in an attempt to ensure that this matter is resolvedI have received no return calls from the customer at this timeAlthough we would still like the opportunity to apologize for the experience this customer had we are considering the proof of delivery as resolution to this complaint. replacement had to be shipped from a more distant location and resulted in a slightly longer delivery time. The customer explained that the tire failure had resulted in damage to his wheel and asked that we compensate them for the damage. In order for us to consider this we would need to retrieve tire that failed and submit it to the manufacturer for their inspection. We offered to bring the tire back at our expense to start this process. The customer refused and hung up on our agent. The customer then opened a dispute for the entire purchase through eBay. We spoke with the customer again and offered to bring back all of the product and refund them in full, as well as open a claim for them with the manufacturer. Again, our offer was rejected and the customer hung up on our agent. We have been more than willing to assist the customer with a reasonable solution to his request, but have yet to be able to establish any cooperation with the customer in order to facilitate this.
