Should be Last Choice Movers
This was my first time using movers and I was very excited to avoid paying friends in beer & pizza for once (it felt adult)I stayed up all night before the move to make sure everything was packed and ready for Saturday morningAs am was approaching (when they were supposed to show) I was excited to be moving in to my first home--texting "it's moving day!" to my family10:am rolled around and we had not heard anythingOnce we called them (they did not call us) we found out that although the driver showed up for work, his helper had notThe owner assured us he would get it figured out and call us back
1:pm on Saturday, still no movers
Finally we heard from the owner, who apologized and assured us he would personally show up the next day
10:am Sunday, no movers
We received a text (not a phone call) that again, still no-one showed up to work and he cannot get a hold of anyoneHe assured us (again) that he would figure it out
We have not heard from him since
This was by far the most unprofessional experience I have ever hadI understand if someone calls in to work and I gave them the benefit of the doubt on SaturdayWhen Sunday rolled around and we wasted the day waiting for movers a second time, that was just disrespectful and unprofessionalThe fact that we have STILL not heard from them is even worse in my mind
I am out $for having to board my dogs both days, in anticipation of having to moveI have also had to book last minute movers and take time off work, so that I could move during the weekThey cost me money and time, both of which I cannot get back
This company came recommended to us by a family friend, so we had high expectationsWe also read previous reviews on here and everything checked outBE CAREFUL if you choose to book themHave a baplanWhile well priced, they don't show up for work and lack the professionalism to communicate with clients
