Curb Appeal NJ

Review: Curb Appeal of NJ, provide an quote to removal of old flower bed stones, provide a sealed two-tone red with black accent edging with cut of for downspouts. When the owner came out to provide the quote for the edging, I explained that I did not want to edging until I could remove the layers of white stones. He OFFERED to remove old stone for an ADDITIONAL Fee. We agreed to the price, $1,050.00. When provided the quote, I had suggested the edging be straight. The owner suggested it be curved to give character to the garden. He said job would take a day and he would be there to draw the line for me to approve. Instead the day the work began, he called to say he was not going to make it and I should draw the lines and tell his crew. I drew the lines. As the day progressed, the foreman told me it was taking too long to get all the stone removed and they were going to start the edging. I told them I needed to speak to the owner, because I would not pay until the stones were removed. As they started the edging I asked them about the two tones and the black accents? The foreman had already done one side of the house and said they were not told about being two toned. He called the owner. I asked about the two tones and the remainder of the stones. I was told they would make sure the two tones were applied and that he would come and look at what stones remain. When he returned from the shore and said the two tones would come up better when sealent was applied and that he would have his crew back to remove the stones. I gave him $1,150.00 and extra $100 because he said it was more stones.There were no cut out for downspouts but he asked to see how the run off worked once I added entensions. The crew came back to remove more stones and I was told the sealent could not be applied for 28 day so the concrete could cure. I have called several times and told it would be addressed . Its over a year and the owner Steve Vicaro does not return calDesired Settlement: Initially I just wanted the concrete sealed so the two tone would match my house and I would deal with the rest.

Now after over a years, there is not two tone effect and the red is faded. I would like to see the entire job re-done with the two tone and down spout cutout in place.
