Poor service - my daughter who is a child 12 years old went to get her hair washed and styled and she was treated with disrespect and poor service very un-professional- the stylist *** burned my daughters scalp to were my daughter was crying uncontrollably for days saying her head hurt - we then took her to emergency for her scalp. - the doctor said her scalp was cut and said this was causing my daughter pain - we were shocked and disappointed that we trusted the stylist and she could treat a child so unhumane.
the stylist *** at Curl Bar should not be doing hair - she also was rude and disrespectful to me the mother and told me to come and finish my daughters hair if I was not satisfied with what she had done.

Refund We would like a refund for the services paid
The Complainant brought her 12 year old daughter in for a scheduled appointment. She did not leave specific instruction as to what should be done with her child's hair in terms of styling before she dropped her off. The daughter had a deep conditioning treatment which doesn't involve any chemicals. The styling was done according to the child's wishes since the mother was not present. As a matter of policy, Curl Bar has specific protocols for addressing grievances, of which the Complainant was aware since this was her daughter's third visit to Curl Bar. She was offered a re-styling appointment for her daughter's hair to be braided free of charge which she accepted and subsequently missed with no advise. Her payment was refunded in full per her request. Curl Bar prides itself on complete customer satisfaction and our reputation hinges on that. Our commitment is to seek amicable resolution but the Complainant obviously chose not to co-operate with us and instead resorted to a non-constructive and slanderous approach and that is very unfortunate. All the same, we wish her luck with future care for her daughter's hair and advise her to make the time to be with her for not just the consultation but the entire process as well in order to avoid misunderstandings and false accusations.

As The Curl Bar said in there response my daughter has been there 3x times prior - we requested the same service as before only adding a hair treatment - the hair stylist *** was rude and had a very bad attitude and took her aggression out on a minor - she left open wounds in my daughters scalp and we have the pictures to prove it!
We want a written apology from the salon and we want it noted to the *** so this does not happen to anyone else again. Also if you want customers to stay and wait for there loved ones please provide a more comfortable seating arrangement for customers to wait.
