Review: My wife dropped off one of her grandmothers rings for repair sometime around early to mid August. On 08/16/2013, my wife received a voicemail asking for "permission to proceed with the work." After not hearing anything for nearly a month, (an unfortunate common theme that we experienced throughout our entire experience with Moses Jewelers) we called Moses on 09/12/2013 and were met with a very rude female employee who said that "[they] had left a voicemail on 08/16/2013 stating that the ring was ready for pickup." When my wife explained the true dialogue within the voicemail, the female employee verified that the ring was, in fact, ready and asked when she would be able to pick it up. My wife replied that the earliest convenient time for her was Saturday, September 14, 2013 but she worked 9am to 5pm and the store was open until 5pm that day. The female employee said that that was fine and that "other employees should still be there" and that she would "inform the other employees to hold it for pickup after that time." When my wife returned to Moses Jewelers to pick up the ring (at around 5:15pm) she was, as expected, confronted with a closed store and two employees standing inside the store. She spoke (through the glass) to a male employee and explained the situation to which he replied that "the store was closed" and shrugged. We both work retail and understand that stores hours are set and that's that however, when prior arrangements are made they should also be honored; it's simply the ethics of business.Desired Settlement: We aren't requesting a settlement of any kind as we will not be returning to this place of business ever again; we simply would like to complete this transaction, pay what is owed, and get our ring back.
