Talked with [redacted] He stated he charged consumer's battery, fixed the brake line, provided a loaner car and returned the vehicle to the consumers Mr [redacted] said he did not brake the handle in question However two weeks ago talked with consumer's husband [redacted] and agreed to repair the handle but has heard nothing from the consumer or her husband

Thank you for bringing this to our attentionWe were introduced to her through our church friendsMy friend explained that she needed repairs and could not afford the estimates she'd received in ColumbusIt's our understanding that her son was driving the car when ti broke down, and was towed to Sancus BlvdThrough my friend, I said I would for $replace both front axles, and she would be responsible for the towShe agreed to thisI took my flatbed to pick up the car and bring it to my shopWe did not drive the carOne front axle was broken in half, the cv joint was gone, and it made sense to replace both as they were the same ageI picked up the car on the 7th, I bought the axles on the 8thI replaced them on the 8th with brand new axlesI called her to let her know her repair job was complete and she could pick up her carI told her she owed $She asked why it was so muchI said she owed for the tow, the parts and laborAs a gesture of customer courtesy and a means of resolving the dispute I reduced the bill by $She came on Monday, the 13th, and paid in cash $ We're sorry she continues to experience problems with her car, but they are not related to any work we performed for herShe has a Honda Accord with approximately 130,miles We have no hard feelings and hopes she can find a repair shop for her future needs

I had my car repaired by Curt in good faith only to be disappointed The axels on by car needed to be replaced with new ones Before the repairs were to be done, my car was able to go in reverse as well as the drivers seat was NOT broken Upon picking up my car, I noticed that the seat was broken before I even entered the car I asked for the keys to the car only to be told that they were inside the car Incidentally, it was parked at the end of the driveway unlocked Curt attempted to fix the seat, I say attempted since after I left the vehicle the seat was once again broken/popped out of place Before I left his driveway, my car made a very high pitch noise when I started it up which it didn't do BEFORE the repairs I was able to drive my car home but it didn't feel the same which I thought was due to the repairs I went to put my car in reverse only to find that I could not as well as the car making that high pitch noise it also made that same type of noise while the car w

I am rejecting this response because I did not have any transmission problems with my car prior to the axels breaking and being repairedI had recently had my rear brakes repaired by Midas and they found no problems with my transmission My oil has been changed regularly at the Honda dealership on Georgesville Rd In regards to Curt and his "generosity" to lower his price, that is a blatant lie Prior to his picking up my car from AAA auto repair, we had a long discussion about the cost of the repairs I asked him specifically how much the cost would be and not once did he state I would be charged for the towing separately plus labor and parts His shop was approximately minutes to an hour away from Columbus The price he ultimately charged was the same price AAA was going to charge and I would not have had to travel so far to get my car He left my car with the keys inside it and it was unsecured I didn't complain about the missing items from my car...money and CDs My car smelled of cigarette smoke and I DONT smoke My main concern was why my car was unsecured and why it wouldn't go in reverse! I want him to stop the lying He was less than forthcoming about his location of his shop especially when I asked him about how the car was to towed and when he was to pick up the car
