I am rejecting this response because:I met with MrC [redacted] on 9/27/and accepted his bid and contract was signed on this date after getting his name as one of the top three concrete companies that do this kind of work on [redacted] .? On Saturday October 1, 2016? of his workers and his daughter Amanda? arrived at around 8:am to do the work.? Amanda told? me her dad? (MrC***) stated he? couldn't come today and he told her? that? to jackhammer about inches from the sides.? They started the job on 10/1/? On? 9/27/his daughter took pictures and MrC [redacted] measured the drive, garage, and patio/sidewalk as he gave me a bid on this or I could ? just a chose a ? sidewalk and stairs.? On 10/1/16, off and on I went to the window of my home and outside and spoke to the workers and during the process, the jackhammer worker was cracking the concrete in the garage and after the process was done the crew was picking up large pieces of concrete into a flat bed truck to take away.? MrC [redacted] was not present on this date.? On Tuesday or Wednesday? night I contacted him by phone as I noticed there were holes in several places in the garage foundation, my back door is pushed out and door jam cracked, my back garage door wont' lock and then the concrete was pushed clear out in several places so I had another professional come immediately to? my house.? I plan to gather all statements as soon as I can and submit them to the Attorney General consumer complaint and to the Revdex.com as soon as I get the other estimates.? Regards, [redacted] ***From: [redacted] ? Sent: Wednesday, October 12, 8:PMTo: [redacted] Subject: Complaint [redacted] Dear Sir or Madam,As promised I am sending further documentation of garage damage caused by this accredited business with the Revdex.comI had other estimates from companies that did similar work? I chose this company for many reasons and one was he told me had years experienceRecently, I discovered he only has months of experience? I also chose him because he had an A- and was accredited with the Revdex.comLikewise, he had reviews that were fairly positive with some complaints similar to the ones I had in this experience with this companySo far, I have had reputable and experienced professionals in the field of masonry and concrete give estimates and professional opinions of what may have happened to the garage foundation of my homeI plan to have three more.First of all, I don't feel its necessary to reply to the company owner's personal opinions ? and will stay with the facts of the issue? MrC [redacted] was never willing to discuss this damage and brought it to my attention three days later on 10/1/? I was mistaken in my last email of the dates due to the distress this has caused? He couldn't find his contract and he wouldn't get off his Bobcat to discuss the matterAdditionally, I contacted him on Wednesday to tell him to I was not happy with the fact that his crew did not show me this damage on SaturdayI was not happy with the quality of the work performed, he wouldn't take any opportunity to call me on the phone, discuss the damage, or even try to have a conversation about this on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, or WednesdayHe didn't seem approachable, he seemed angry his staff couldn't find his contract and he was very short with me as a customer? He didn't seem willing to listen to me as a customer who paid for a service? ? They used a Bobcat and Jackhammer which is likely the cause of the damage by inexperienced peopleI have several ? appraisers thus far in the field who can attest that this damage was freshly done and not from hitting a garage door with a vehicle, not from the company that did my basement, and not previously there.I had tried having a conversation with the contractor/owner about the damage, the quality of the work performed and am willing to make reasonable efforts to resolve this amicably without going to courtI prefer litigation to be the last resort.I do understand that the company performed some work; however I will need to see further estimates from other professionals and quickly as the air, animals, and winter is approaching? ? Finally, please find enclosed photographs of damage.Sincerely, [redacted] ***?

I am rejecting this response because:I have had numerous estimates due to two doors being damaged; one to my house and one to the back garage door and the foundation was pushed off its track by someone working in the garage which was C***There is no damage to any part of the house where I had basement contractor's three weeks prior The basement work contractor's President came to the house after completing this basement work and no outside damage was done by their company or did this happen prior to the C [redacted] contractor's being in the garage doing workThey weren't even close to the garage The President of the contracting company will attest to that There is no way anyone else did this damage The pictures above show the sides of the home on East side where basement work was done The owner would not get off his Bobcat to discuss the issue and due to the damage caused by this company and the poor work that was completed I will have no other recourse than to hire another contractorHe was asked not to come to the property and did so anyway to retrieve his boards and steel from the front I have several estimates and professional opinions's of contractor's who do this kind of work that say this is fresh cracks and foundation pushed off by equipmentC [redacted] was the only contractor in my garage.I moved items from the garage for two days prior moving it around the walls of the garage and no damage was noted by me or other person who was with me on these dates The fact that this was not brought to my attention immediately but days later is not acceptable and the unprofessional approach by this owner who would not discuss the matter and didn't inform me right away if in fact he believes his worker's didn't do this Again, he was not present on the job That kind of damage would have been noticeable when I moved the contents of the garage outside Regards, [redacted] ***

I am rejecting this response because:I have had numerous estimates due to two doors being damaged; one to my house and one to the back garage door and the foundation was pushed off its track by someone working in the garage which was C***There is no damage to any part of the house where I had basement contractor's three weeks prior. The basement work contractor's President came to the house after completing this basement work and no outside damage was done by their company or did this happen prior to the C*** contractor's being in the garage doing workThey weren't even close to the garage. The President of the contracting company will attest to that. There is no way anyone else did this damage. The pictures above show the sides of the home on East side where basement work was done. The owner would not get off his Bobcat to discuss the issue and due to the damage caused by this company and the poor work that was completed I will have no other recourse than to hire another contractorHe was asked not to come to the property and did so anyway to retrieve his boards and steel from the front. . I have several estimates and professional opinions's of contractor's who do this kind of work that say this is fresh cracks and foundation pushed off by equipmentC*** was the only contractor in my garage.I moved items from the garage for two days prior moving it around the walls of the garage and no damage was noted by me or other person who was with me on these dates.. The fact that this was not brought to my attention immediately but days later is not acceptable and the unprofessional approach by this owner who would not discuss the matter and didn't inform me right away if in fact he believes his worker's didn't do this. Again, he was not present on the job. That kind of damage would have been noticeable when I moved the contents of the garage outside

we took pictures as stated before of foundation and was pushed out all around the garage.she is complaining of block block inside garage that the concrete was attatched to.that we always have to reface when garage floor is finished.you can never remove concrete from a garage floor with out this happeningif needed I have employees that was take pollygraph test to prove she is not telling the truth about foundation.she threw me off the job before we could get this or anything else done.no other damage was done by us as garage was already pushed off foundation,if she would have let us complete are job per contract she would been happy.note, she just had house foundation done and I say thats when foundition got shifted.not by me or my company

Revdex.comWe made absolutely no false claims against Curtis Concrete & Leveling & Construction. We havenever felt forced to file a complaint with the Revdex.com before but we felt we had no choicewith Jerry Curtis. WE NEED HELP!! Dealing with him has been a nightmare! We hired him to tear out our old retaining walls and replace them. He was also to tear out theold concrete in between our retaining walls and replace it with a bigger cement pad. What this man saidhe would do for us did not get wrote down into the contract. First - he only wrote down one retainingwall. Then he did not write down that he was going to backfill and have pebble stones to finish it. Hehad told us he was going to do these things. His word did not mean much.My husband told Jerry when we hired him that the cement was going to have to be poured at astraight gradual slope away from the house. My husband talked to the man that set the forms for theconcrete and told them how they needed to be. My husband checked it before he left for work thatmorning. They had set it up the way he told them to do it. Jerry came that day and tore out the formsand redid them. He set them up so that the concrete was high at the garage and also high by thedriveway. When they poured the cement, there was literally a dip in the middle of the cement. First- itlooked bad and second- he had not put any kind of drain in for water to run off. He did this because hedid not want to take the time to grade the driveway under the concrete. He is supposed to be aprofessional that should have realized what was going to be necessary to do the cement pad the properway. He should not have said he would do it and then try to do it a different way because it was lesswork. It is not our fault that he took a shortcut and did not do it the proper way.Shortly after the cement was poured, we got rain. There were puddles of rain in the concretebecause there was nowhere for the water to go. That would have happened with or without thedownspout issue. The cement was not washed out- it was just huge pockets of water. The fact is thatJerry did not pour the cement the way my husband had told them to. WE HIRED HIM! He should havedone it the way my husband requested it. Jerry did tear it out and replace it and poured it the way itshould have been poured the first time. He knew and all of his helpers knew that he had messed up buthe wasn't happy because it cost him money. He kept trying to blame us. (I am enclosing pictures of howthe concrete was originally poured and the way it looks now that it is correct.)So finally after getting the concrete right, he started building the walls. The walls were only halfbuilt and the broken concrete was still laying in piles on our yard. There was no backfill behind the walls. He called me and said that he wanted his money. He was done. I was blindsided. I replied that thewalls were not done. He was rude and said to read the contract. He was done and he was going to sueus if we didn't pay. That was when we saw that he had only written one wall. He knew what we wantedwhen he wrote it out. Why would we hire someone to tear two retaining walls out and only put one up?We learned that we should have looked at the contract closer - he was so pushy about doing the job.We wanted to wait until fall because we would have our crops off and we would not have to borrow topay for it. He said he had time to do it and he said he was giving us such a good deal! After rereading his contract, we realized that we should have not been so trusting. We shouldhave made sure everything he said he was going to do was on the contract. My husband, [redacted], and Itried to reason with him. We said that we would write out another contract to pay him more to finish it.[redacted] volunteered to get the blocks to finish it. [redacted] got the number of blocks that Jerry said wouldfinish the job. Jerry never said anything about getting caps. They worked on the walls but they did nothave the caps on them and they were not backfilled. (On the new contract it is specifically written thatthey would finish building the wall - 16 ft. long - both sides, capped and backfilled. I already sent a copyof that contract.)Jerry called me and said that all they had to do was finish the putting the capping on and he wasmad because [redacted] had not bought it. I told him that they never told [redacted] that he needed to get that.He started cursing at me and hung up. He texted me to have [redacted] call him. I called Jerry twice and hehung up both times.  My husband never called Jerry because the new contract stated Jerry was tofurnish them. They did come and put the caps on and sealed the concrete. Then he sent his son tocollect payment. I told his son that the contract was not completed. They had not completed thebackfilling or getting the concrete off of our garage door and walk-through door. I told the son that Iwould be glad to pay them when the contract was complete.I received threats through texts that he was going to sue us if we didn't pay immediately. Wewere so tired of his harassment that we paid the full amount on both contracts. After he cashed thecheck, we received another text saying that we had to send him more money. He wanted money farcaps and gas that he spent getting it.This is why we have turned to the Revdex.com to help deal with this unwarrantedand uncalled for situation. We paid more than the 50% that was required before the job was completeand he still complained constantly about the money.  He took the full payment even though he did not complete the job. The rest of this is ridiculous. Please help take care of this. By his own admission in hisresponse to my complaint, he acknowledged that he had to pour the concrete again the way myhusband said to pour it to keep the water off the concrete. But he threatens to sue us because he triesto blame it on us. Please help stop this harassment and threats!!!

I am rejecting this response because:I have had numerous estimates due to two doors being damaged; one to my house and one to the back garage door and the foundation was pushed off its track by someone working in the garage which was C[redacted]. There is no damage to any part of the house where I had basement contractor's three weeks prior.      The basement work contractor's President came to the house after completing this basement work and no outside damage was done by their company or did this happen prior to the C[redacted] contractor's being in the garage doing work. They weren't even close to the garage.   The President of the contracting company will attest to that.  There is no way anyone else did this damage.  The pictures above show the sides of the home on East side where basement work was done.  The owner would not get off his Bobcat to discuss the issue and due to the damage caused by this company and the poor work that was completed I will have no other recourse than to hire another contractor. He was asked not to come to the property and did so anyway to retrieve his boards and steel from the front. .  I have several estimates and professional opinions's of contractor's who do this kind of work that say this is fresh cracks and foundation pushed off by equipment. C[redacted] was the only contractor in my garage.I moved items from the garage for two days prior moving it around the walls of the garage and no damage was noted by me or other person who was with me on these dates..  The fact that this was not brought to my attention immediately but 3 days later is not acceptable and the unprofessional approach by this owner who would not discuss the matter and didn't inform me right away if in fact he believes his worker's didn't do this.   Again, he was not present on the job.  That kind of damage would have been noticeable when I moved the contents of the garage outside

was contacted by [redacted] about mrs [redacted] wanting concrete work done.contacted mrs [redacted] and went to her home and gave a bid for a new garage floor and a front patio and front steps and driveway.she stated she only had enough money to do garage and patio at this time and we could do driveway next...

spring.mrs [redacted] signed contract for all work and paid 50% down for work to be done now, garage and patio.steps. told mrs [redacted] would start job saturday, went saturday to remove concrete from garage floor.when started jack hammering floor at front of garage we noticed the foundition was pushed out.we stoped jack hammering and went outside garage and seen where  foundation was pushed out.not even attached to plate.we walked around outside of garage and noticed the foundition all around garage was pushed out.we took photos of around garage before removing any concrete from garage floor.spoke to mrs [redacted] when we returned to finish garage floor and to prep ground for forming patio.told her about her foundation, she stated she knew it was cracked and pushed out a little bit,but then stated was not that bad.it was the same as it was when we started.as we took photos and ask her if she wanted to see picture and she said no.she left and we graded and formed and graveled in patio geting it ready to pour.we had to tamp down gravel then pour patio on thursday.she called me wedsday night and ask if I found my contact as it was misplaced,I stated not yet as havnt had time to look for it.she then stated she talked to a attorney and wanted me to stop work as it was taking to long.she was getting someone else to finish after we have done all the hard work.the she stated she waned her money back.I told her we have a signed contract and we need to complete are job then if not happy with work she then can file a complaint.she just had the foundition on house repaired, which is probaly what damaged garage foundation.also stated she put on a new garage door,so not sure if she hit garage and damaged foundition or from house foundition being rasied and repaired as she stated.the whole thing apears to be a scam to get her grarage foundition fixed at someone elses expence.totaly unfair.im sueing her for balace of contract plus as we have not done anything wrong to not to complete are job as contracted and signed.

I am rejecting this response because:I met with Mr. C[redacted] on 9/27/16 and accepted his bid and contract was signed on this date after getting his name as one of the top three concrete companies that do this kind of work on [redacted].  On Saturday October 1, 2016  2 of his workers and his daughter Amanda arrived at around 8:30 am to do the work.  Amanda told me her dad (Mr. C[redacted]) stated he couldn't come today and he told her that to jackhammer about 11 inches from the sides. They started the job on 10/1/16.   On 9/27/16 his daughter took pictures and Mr. C[redacted] measured the drive, garage, and patio/sidewalk as he gave me a bid on this or I could  just a chose a  sidewalk and stairs.  On 10/1/16, off and on I went to the window of my home and outside and spoke to the workers and during the process, the jackhammer worker was cracking the concrete in the garage and after the process was done the crew was picking up large pieces of concrete into a flat bed truck to take away.  Mr. C[redacted] was not present on this date.  On Tuesday or Wednesday night I contacted him by phone as I noticed there were holes in several places in the garage foundation, my back door is pushed out and door jam cracked, my back garage door wont' lock and then the concrete was pushed clear out in several places so I had another professional come immediately to my house.  He is a concrete specialist with several years experience.  The porch has no rebar to hold it together, the garage structure had to be damaged by heavy equipment, and I have several other contractors coming to give estimates on the damage done.  I also have witnesses and signed statements that I am gathering that no damage to the garage structure like this was there before this company came to do this work. I am sending documentation and pictures of before and after to the BB via certified mail as soon as I can as I have to work today.  I am rejecting his response as his response is not accurate.  I wanted to at least give a response today and will send dates and correspondence I have with another contractor who came yesterday and gave me feedback about the damage that was done by this company.  I am reluctant to allow this company to finish this job due to him only being in business in concrete since January 2016.  I don't want my garage to fall away from the foundation.  I plan to gather all statements as soon as I can and submit them to the Attorney General consumer complaint and to the Revdex.com as soon as I get the other estimates.

[redacted]From: [redacted] Sent: Wednesday, October 12, 2016 8:14 PMTo: [redacted]Subject: Complaint [redacted]Dear Sir or Madam,As promised I am sending further documentation of garage damage caused by this accredited business with the Revdex.com. I had other estimates from companies that did similar work.  I chose this company for many reasons and one was he told me had 15 years experience. Recently, I discovered he only has 10 months of experience.  I also chose him because he had an A- and was accredited with the Revdex.com. Likewise, he had 18 reviews that were fairly positive with some complaints similar to the ones I had in this experience with this company. So far, I have had 3 reputable and experienced professionals in the field of masonry and concrete give estimates and professional opinions of what may have happened to the garage foundation of my home. I plan to have three more.First of all, I don't feel its necessary to reply to the company owner's personal opinions  and will stay with the facts of the issue.  Mr. C[redacted] was never willing to discuss this damage and brought it to my attention three days later on 10/1/16.  I was mistaken in my last email of the dates due to the distress this has caused.  He couldn't find his contract and he wouldn't get off his Bobcat to discuss the matter. Additionally, I contacted him on Wednesday to tell him to I was not happy with the fact that his crew did not show me this damage on Saturday. I was not happy with the quality of the work performed, he wouldn't take any opportunity to call me on the phone, discuss the damage, or even try to have a conversation about this on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, or Wednesday. He didn't seem approachable, he seemed angry his staff couldn't find his contract and he was very short with me as a customer.  He didn't seem willing to listen to me as a customer who paid for a service.     They used a Bobcat and Jackhammer which is likely the cause of the damage by inexperienced peopleI have several  4 appraisers thus far in the field who can attest that this damage was freshly done and not from hitting a garage door with a vehicle, not from the company that did my basement, and not previously there.I had tried having a conversation with the contractor/owner about the damage, the quality of the work performed and am willing to make reasonable efforts to resolve this amicably without going to court. I prefer litigation to be the last resort.I do understand that the company performed some work; however I will need to see further estimates from other professionals and quickly as the air, animals, and winter is approaching.   Finally, please find enclosed photographs of damage.Sincerely,[redacted]

first off no back fill in contact, home owners would not get material to finish job so we got material and finished job,the they would not pay for material.no down spout on gutters so when it rainded after job was poured it washed out concrete driveway,so we had to remove reform and repour job...

because of their neglect, never ask for a dime to redo at my cost over 2000 dollars, but going to sue them for that.graded driveway so their was no drop off as custmer request to be formed up.back filled one side with my material I bought as a freindly jester ,husband said he would get it backed filled and have driveway graded,so I didnt do other side.but I graded drive for them at no cost.went to get paid when job was complete except the retaining wall as they never bought material to finish.ask to get paid and was told had no money to pay me.said would give me 1000 today,1000 next teusday and the balance in 2 weeks.not very nice for home owners to give false claims against my company.
