Jonathan Lawson Construction was hired to build our home and left several things that was in the contract to be finished unfinished
Below is a list of things that we have shown the contractor that was left unfinished or unacceptable work: Yard left incomplete, septic line left above ground, windows not chaulked and leaks during rain, basement leaking, paint splatter all over hard wood flooring, door and window trim unacceptable, kitchen counter top cut during sink installation, hardwood floors don't line up properly in some places, heat return return poorly finished, marks left on all flashings, exterior door trims dented, J-channel extremely poorly installedBasically all finishing touches of home interior and exterior was rushed threw and poorly done
Johnathan Lawson Construction LLC of Lynchburg Lane, Surgoinsville TN was hired to build our one-story house with an unfinished basement in July of and build is still not completed as of July per our contract
The original completion date of March that was promised proved not to be true and in fact, several other dates were not ever adhered to either
Below is a list of items that were not complete, and are keeping us from obtaining our permanent occupancy permit:
' The roof over side door of the garage (electric wires are hanging from the side of the house)
' Step to get into the side entrance of garage (currently 16? high)
' Master shower door not installed
' Doorbell (wires still dangling from walls)
' Sheetrock not finished in the downstairs garage for fire protection
' Paint downstairs garage
' The wall around the heat return not painted
' 8? piece of sheetrock in the garage has a deep wrinkle that was never finished properly but painted over and l
