In response to complaint *** filed by *** * *** AMJ took over management of Liv Apartments on March 31st and cannot speak on behalf of the previous owners or managementIt has been observed by our current manager and a housing codes inspector that Ms***'s current
apartment is in acceptable condition. We have graciously offered Ms*** to move into one of our recently renovated apartmentsAMJ however requires a $deposit for all of our apartments and because Ms*** did not pay a deposit with the previous management company there is no deposit to transfer and a new deposit is requiredWe do not upgrade occupied units as part of our policy and renovation plan for the property We would again like to invite Ms*** to transfer to a newly renovated apartment at the current market rate with a deposit of $to be paid before move-in

Mr *** came to us with a GMC pickup that had many spots of peeling paintOur contract states that we would machine sand and prime these peeling areasWhich we didHe was mistakenly told that his vehicle was ready for delivery when in fact it had not yet been cleaned upHe states that he
declined to bring it back to us because for some reason he did not trust that we could perform the step which had been forgottenOur warranty guarantees that our paint will stick to what we apply it toSix months later he returns with more peeling on his truckThese areas were not the areas which we had previously sanded and primed but new areas on his truck where the factory original paint had now lost adhesionEven though we had not worked in these areas previously we repaired his truck for no chargeAlthough I have not seen his car his present complaint is that there was some overspray on his windshield which we did not detect and remove, a little paint on his key and some paint on his headlinerKeys and headliners are not common areas for overspray but he was told that if he brought his car back to us we would be happy to clean whatever areas he was concerned about He does not complain about the paint on the car or the new repairs that we made free of charge, his only complaint seems to be about some small areas of overspray which need cleaningIf he would have brought his truck back to the shop in a timely manner it would have required only a few minutes with some paint reducer

I am rejecting this response because: The issue is no care or workmanship was taken with this jobIf I had a plumber fix a leaky pipe in my house and it leaked after they left they would be held accountable to fix itWhen I originally brought the truck in I was told it would be sanded for peeling paintI'm not a paint professional I relied on your professional services to give me a price for the jobI found out after the fact you simply sprayed my truck on top of a paint job that was defective from the factoryThe roof peeled because you did not complete the job correctly from day oneIn the process of repairing the roof you once again took shortcuts and damaged my truck furtherNo matter how much I paid for your service ($was my total by the way, not $850) the job should of been done in a professional mannerNothing about this job was professional, from the paint to the customer serviceYou sold me a product that has defects and you have proven you do not have the ability to fix it correctlyYou have also failed to acknowledge the giant swirls down the side of my cab and bed, I've uploaded the picture for referenceI've also gone out of my way to get quotes to repair the damage you have caused and get other professional opinions of the job that was doneEach shop has told me that I got ripped off and I should be seeking a refund

When I originally brought the truck in I was told it would be sanded for peeling paint. I'm not a paint professional I relied on your professional services to give me a price for the job. I found out after the fact you simply sprayed my truck on top of a paint job that was defective from the factory. The roof peeled because you did not complete the job correctly from day one. In the process of repairing the roof you once again took shortcuts and damaged my truck further. No matter how much I paid for your service ($1700 was my total by the way, not $850) the job should of been done in a professional manner. Nothing about this job was professional, from the paint to the customer service. You sold me a product that has defects and you have proven you do not have the ability to fix it correctly. You have also failed to acknowledge  the giant swirls down the side of my cab and bed, I've uploaded the picture for reference. I've also gone out of my way to get quotes to repair the damage you have caused and get other professional opinions of the job that was done. Each shop has told me that I got ripped off and I should be seeking a refund.

There is nothing new in his complaint. I am done with this customer
