Custom Built Chimney

Review: On 4-8-2013 we were approached by door to door chimney repair service custom built chimneys from [redacted] Pa [redacted] (persons name was Kevin).We were very hesitnt about this service but really questioned him thoroughly. Felt relatively comfortable with answers we received so we had them reline our chimney with stainless steel system for $1696.00. On receipt was written all work lifetime guarantee and promised that in one year we would be contacted to set a time that they would come back to make sure everything was holding up and functioning correctly. We have not heard anything from them and it is 7-3-2014. I happened to remember this and pulled my file and receipt and information. Called the number several times and got an operator search request- no custom built chimney company. Went online and tried the number listed there and got a financial services company. There has been no way I can find to contact these people. We are now very concerned about the work that was done last year. There were some romises given that have not proven to be truthful and we have no way to try to get to the bottom of this to resolve these issues. Never again! We feel we should be given some kind of adequate refund or more as we feel we most definately need to hire a reputable local company to come in to check things out to make sure everything is correct and safe. We absolutely want to hear some kind of explanation from this company concerning false promises and lack of valid contact information AT THE VERY LEAST.

Not keeping those promises constitutes a major refund in our minds. No way to contact theses people is a problem and really creates doubts and worries we should not be having to deal with
