Customer [redacted] stopped by
our southwest location on 12/26/15. She brought in the wheel (without the
vehicle) to purchase a new tire. After careful inspection, our technician did
not find any structural damage to the wheel, only the cosmetic damages of curb

She purchased a new 235/30R20
tire as a carryout. We did not install the wheel on Ms. [redacted]’s vehicle. Since
this was a carryout and we did not provide the installation, we did not offer
the extended warranty as it did not meet the requirements. Also as stated on
the invoice, there is no warranty on services performed.
On 01/02/16, Ms. [redacted] returned
stating that she was having issues with her wheel. Per our policies, we require
a diagnostic to determine the cause of the issue. We explained to Ms. [redacted] that
if it was determined that the issue was our fault, the diagnostic fee would be
waived. However, if it was determined that the cause were other road hazards,
she would be liable for the diagnostic fee of $30, if she decided to not get
