I have been using Custom Climate concepts for over years and continue to be impressed by their competence, honesty and effectiveness They are clean cut and informative and stand behind their service and installationsIn particular, I am very impressed by Rocky B*** and his associate Travis They are perfectionists and leave a job very clean

I arrived at my winter home in florida to no A/CThere was no circulating air tho the unit was runningI shut the unit off and just turned on the fanNo circulationI could hear the motor trying to startFrom my maintenance background I knew this was a high probably of a defective start capacitorSince this unit is only two years old and still in parts warrranty I called in to CCCI repeated my diagnosis to themWhen the tech arrived I repeated my diagnosis to himHe said it is probably the Xcontrol that is used in place of a start capacitorThey have had many failures of this control? He checked it out and sid yes it is the control moduleHe didnt have one on the truck and it would have to be orderedLet's see nowI told them what the problem might be and they have had lots of problems with these modules and they dont keep them in stock? They had to order itSo now they have to come back with the moduleTwo service callsThe first is to diagnose the problem and the second is to put it inThe part is under warrantyThe first service call for diagnosis $59.00.The second service call was to return and finish what they had started, minutes work, two screws to remove old module and unplug a connector$for minutes workThat figures to $2028.00/hrObviously you can see what their business model is:
Split the trouble call into two separate calls:diagnosis and repair by not keeping stock on their trucks so they can return and tag you againOr maybe they just say that they have to order I suspect the latterOh, and I will not be renewing the annual maintenance contract

They installed a UV light and serviced my air conditioner.

I think Rocky and his partner Ray did an excellent job, I was very pleased with the installation of my new AC.

Had a new AC installation done today & the service performed was very good! Rocky the tech who did the install was great and went out of his way to make sure the job was done RIGHT! he really knows his job well. I would surely recommend the guys at Custom Climate Concepts to anyone looking to upgrade or repair their AC/HEAT system !
