To Whom It May Concern:
The merchandise is at Custom Coach. The customer specail orderd a bench seat. As explained to *** *** he can have the special made bench installed by another shop. However the bench is being stored at Custom Coach for his pick up. He was
only charged for the special order bench seat and no other additional services. This was a specail order bench seat specific to his truck. This is not a refundable which the customer knew upon placing the order and why the payment for the special order bench seat was taken up front. *** *** may pick up his special ordered bench seat during business hours Tuesday - Friday 9am - 6pm and Saturday 9am - 3pm. We will be happy to assist in loading the bench seat in the customers truck. Thank You

There is nothing further we can do for *** ***. Custom Coach has also taken a loss of money too.
Again Custom Coach bought back *** ***'s car from trade in from a wholesaler it was sold to. Then brought the vehicle back to the shop for her. We offered to take back the *** *** back and provided her trade in back to her and even paid to re-register it for *** ***; again by law Custom Coach did not have to do any of this. Thank you

Dear sir/madam,
When I initially gave Custom coach a deposit for the job, there was no mention that this was a special order item, and that the deposit was non-refundable I was merely giving them a deposit towards the job at handConsequently, when Custom Coach was non-responsive to my request to expedite this job after months of me waiting patiently; I had to get a different Company to do the job of installing the bench seat in my Work Van I needed this work done because it was affecting my own business I was unable to use my work van the whole time I was waiting for custom coach The installation of this bench seat affected all the tool shelving in the back of the van I was unable to stock the Van with the tools that we use daily, and also, I was unable to accommodate seating for my workers.
Because of Custom Coach's lack of Professionalism and business mannerism, this whole ordeal, which should have been a painless and a smooth process, was an extremely terrible experience I believe that I was very tolerant with Custom coach In fact, I waited for them much longer than I should have As a result, when it began costing me money with my own Business, I had to look elsewhere to do this job The bench seat has already been installed by a different company, and I am very pleased with their work This Company, unlike Custom coach, was very professional, and they did what they promised The job was done right, and in a timely manner
As you can see, I now have no use for the bench seat that Custom Coach says they have waiting for me Please help me with this matter It is unfair that this Company can conduct themselves in this manner, and get away with it There's gotta be some kind of protection for the consumer like me
Additionally, I have absolutely no paperwork from Custom Coach that tells me that this was indeed a special order item, and that my deposit was non-refundable I simply gave them a deposit of $1,100, towards the job which was worth $1, They never did the job, and never had the courtesy to return my calls when I showed concern; therefore I should not have to pay for this
Also, after having had a different Company install the seat, I now know that the bench seat itself does not cost $1,100.00, it retails for $ This, to me, further indicates that I was purely making a deposit towards the job, and not a deposit towards the seat
I hope you can help me

I am rejecting this response because: I did check the oil when the light came on and it was good. The oil light only came on when I was doing under 5 mph. I have worked on cars for many years and after my mechanic looked at the oil pan when it was towed to the shop (I had to pay for the tow) he told my boyfriend and I that the oil pan had been taken off and something was done to make the car run for a couple hundred miles. The motor was tampered with so that they can make a quick buck and screw someone over. I am out over a thousand dollars because of all of this. The owner was very rude and I had to put up a fight just to get my jeep back. I was scared to go to custom coach and ended up having a cop meet me there to make sure he didn't herase me any more.

[redacted] purchased a car on trade in "AS IS".  At no time was the car tampered with.  Reviewing the attached form shows no legal entity name address or phone number.  We are certainly not in he business to "screw" anyone over.  We went above and beyond the law and what is required when selling a car "AS IS".  The sale was final and the car passed inspections, emissions and was registered.  At no time was [redacted] harassed and the police officer witnessed that.

Review: I purchased a [redacted] on Tuesday July 1st and on Wednesday July 2 it broke down. I called custom-coach asking for help with towing and repairs and all I got was that they couldn't help me. I ended up having to leave the car on the side of the road and rent a car dolly the following day to get it to a shop. I have now been in Maine since Wednesday without a car waiting for my car to be fixed. I am still unsure of what the mechanic is going to charge me and when I will be getting the car back. Customer service is horrible and there cars are junk!Desired Settlement: I am looking to either get refunded for the car dolly and mechanic fees and given a warranty that they will honor or get the vehicle I traded in back. If I get the vehicle I traded in back I want them to pay for registration and all other [redacted] fees.

Review: Had a lot of accessories installed on my new truck by them. I was happy with the work that was done ,but when it came to getting the last part put on that had come in wrong, that was already paid for. Every week when I would call they would say that it didn't make the truck this week. That went on for many weeks. Finally I stopped in there to ask in person and of course the part still wasn't there. So [redacted] who I believe is the owner and I agreed that he would just refund the cost of the part with tax and labor. He explains that his bookkeeper only comes in on Saturdays and he will have her mail out a check then. That was about 3 months ago .I've called many times, sent an email, and faxed twice. Still no response. It's a shame because I was happy with the work that was done, but their correspondence back especially when something has already been paid for is Terrible.Desired Settlement: I would just like to get the amount of the part, tax and labor. I have the receipt. the part is called ( [redacted] ) cost is $224.00 plus 6% tax is 237.44.. I know the sales tax is 6.35 now but this has been going on for a while now. originally purchased on 7-13-2012 yes this has been going on since then. I think the tax back then was 6% . also he said it would take around a half hour to install the part. The paperwork shows labor @ $ 95.00 per hour . Adding all those up comes to $ 284.94

Response:

I have reviewed the compliant with the office manager and have issued a store credit to Mr. [redacted] in the amount of $224.00. It is the company’s policy to issue store credit only. It is clearly stated on each customer invoice. I would hope for Mr. [redacted] to use his credit for any future purchase. Thank you for your time.

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:

The agreement made between myself and [redacted], the owner was that they were going to send out a refund to me. I gave him my address and he said his bookkeeper would send it out on Saturday, many months ago. Also I checked my paid invoice and the $224.00 price was for material only. It didn't include sales tax or labor that I was charged and paid for. Hence the price that I sent over for reimbursement. After dealing with them on my own and not getting anywhere for over a year, I have no desire to ever do business with them again. So a store credit is not acceptable.. Thank you.

Review: [redacted]

Unfortunately it is company policy that a store credit is issued, it is stated on our invoice. Also please note the invoice clearly states 30 days. Our staff attempted many times to contact Mr. [redacted] and have him come into the shop to finish his work. He had not made the time. This was well over a year and a half ago. Mr. [redacted] has a credit with Custom Coach and we are more than happy to assist him in applying that credit towards his purchase. Thank you

Response:

They NEVER followed up like they said they did . I will accept a credit for the full amount that they owe me. Including material, tax, and labor that I paid for. As described in original complaint. totaling $ 289.94. I do have receipts to prove that. Also would like the credit sent to me as a gift card from them that doesn't expire and could be used by anyone. This is the only way I will accept this offer. When I receive it in the mail I will contact the Revdex.com and let them know. My address is [redacted]

Please read above response .

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Sincerely,

Review: At the end of March I purchased a 2015 [redacted]. I brought it to Custom Coach based on the recommendation of my Sales Person at the [redacted] dealer to have a protective clear wrap put on the front of my truck. I scheduled an appointment two weeks after I bought the vehicle (first weekend appointment available..4/11/15) While the truck was at Custom Coach, I received a phone call stating that the hood piece was creased and would not be able to be put on the truck. A phone call would be made to set up a new appointment once the replacement piece was received. Two weeks passed-no phone call. I called the shop and he was surprised his son had not called to schedule this appointment because the piece was in. I scheduled the appointment for another weekend in May. Due to my work schedule week days are not possible. My husband, kids and I dropped off the vehicle on a Saturday and proceeded with our day. We received a phone call forty minutes later stating that the piece that they received was the wrong piece and we needed to pick up the truck. A new piece would need to be ordered. My husband asked the owner to call and verify that the piece had been ordered properly and that they received the corrected piece before we made the trip back. Again, we waited for their call and another two weeks went by. Now it is June and I called to speak with [redacted] the owner. No apology was given. He said he has been busy with family matters. He offered to send his son to get my truck and complete the job since I am not able to get the vehicle to him for a third time. I do not feel this is the way to handle the situation. I do not lend my vehicle to anyone to drive. I have three children and need it on a daily basis. The point of the clear wrap was to have it on the vehicle as soon as it was purchased not four months later. I do not feel as though he put any effort into rectifying this situation. I paid for this in April and am very dissatisfied with the way things have been handled.Desired Settlement: I made many phone calls speaking with people at Custom Coach and no one has returned my phone calls. I feel as though once the company received my money no one cared that the job wasn't complete. This is no way to handle a customer. I will not let the owner's son drive my vehicle. This is not an option.

Review: [redacted] (the manager) from Custom Coach quoted me over the phone a price of $1,700 to supply and install a bench seat for my [redacted] work van.He asked for a deposit of $1,100.00 to be able to get the seat and schedule the installation. I gave him a credit card number over the phone. He said that would set me up for installation no later that 3 weeks. When I did not get a call back by the third week,I called [redacted], but he kept making excuses that the seat had not come in yet..... This went on for two months. By the time this situation was leading into the third month, I would call daily, but [redacted] began to screen my calls, and would not answer or return any of the calls. And when someone else at Custom coach would answer the phone, [redacted] was always mysteriously unavailable, and no one else would give me any idea of what was going on with my job that I had given them a deposit for.At this point, I believed that I had been taken advantage of, I felt that I had been ripped off. So I called my credit card to dispute the charge, they were unable to help me. So please see if you can help me in this matter so that I may get my $1,100 deposit back. Thank you very much.Desired Settlement: I would like my $1,100.00 deposit refunded back to me.

The merchandise is at Custom Coach. The customer specail orderd a bench seat. As explained to [redacted] he can have the special made bench installed by another shop. However the bench is being stored at Custom Coach for his pick up. He was only charged for the special order bench seat and no other additional services. This was a specail order bench seat specific to his truck. This is not a refundable which the customer knew upon placing the order and why the payment for the special order bench seat was taken up front. [redacted] may pick up his special ordered bench seat during business hours Tuesday - Friday 9am - 6pm and Saturday 9am - 3pm. We will be happy to assist in loading the bench seat in the customers truck. Thank You.
