I have a photo of the wheel cover in question and there is no way a weed eater could have done thatHe did that or it was done priorPhoto here#we now the grass at inch hieght--- that means we trimm at the same hieght.#2 so if he had hit the wheel cover it would have been right at the tire not to inches above where we mow. #if weed eater had hit normally plastic breaks. The boy that mowed the yard that day has been mowing and weed eating for years now and if he tells me he didn't hit and after seeing the picture I believe him. If we had hit it I would have bought one my self or turned in to insurance

I am rejecting this response because: I am %99.9 sure of what happened. My mind is fixed on this matter. I haven't asked or demanded anything. This is more of a hassle to me. I am an honest and fair man and did not do this to my car. Everyone else that has looked at it come to the same conclusion. The plastic wheel skin is made of composite plastic and is very strong. I've only had this car for about 2 months and it gets a wash and wipe down by me every Friday. Especially the wheels. I would have noticed the damage then. The car was parked from Friday until Saturday afternoon. It was a couple hours after they mowed before I drove it next.

He did something to that wheel himself. The scratch is a straight line. A weed eater cannot do something like that. I have a picture of it. He is on his own on that one. We will not pay for damage we did not cause.
