Review: We had a complete kitchen remodel and laundry room done1. Center island has a crack by the sink opening and also on the raised bar part. The edges of the island are unacceptable.2. The granite by the two windows of our kitchen are sloped towards the outside wall. They look terrible.3. Gouch marks on brand new cabinet doors4. Brand New sponge metal drawer they damaged while installing and welded it together instead of replacing. 5. Wall plug missing next to fridge per code. (We don't know the cost to have the backsplash replaced to access electrical.)6. LED light in kitchen works intermittently.7. Water leak under laundry room sink. They knew about it and never gave us the opportunity to have it corrected, instead they installed the laundry room sink that needs to be removed to have access to the back wall to fix the leak.8. They are billing us for materials & labor that we provided.9. They are billing also charging us to remove a toilet, bathroom sink, bathroom faucet from our home. They never touched a bathroom in our home.10. The kitchen vent ABS piping is not strapped as required by code under the house.11. Backsplash tile is poor quality with sloppy workmanship. Wall is uneven. Uneven tiles and grout is a mess.12. They installed the bar faucet on the wrong end of what we told them we wanted. Instead of correcting it, they ran excessive plumbing under the bar cabinet. Therefore, we are concerned of all the plumbing running under the bar and now we can't use half of the cabinets because of their mistake.13. They told us if we paid them $5,000 towards the final payment they would come and replace the broken granite counter top. We paid this and they never came to fix it. They deceived us. 15. GFI plug is missing in the laundry, per code.14. They have put a mechanic's lien on our home because we refuse to pay the final payment because the quality of their work is unacceptable. We have had 3rd parties inspect & they have declared in writing their work is unacceptableDesired Settlement: We want Custom Cuts Construction to pay to have all of the work redone & reimburse us for the damages they have caused to our home. We want to be reimbursed for repairs and materials that they charged us, but never completed.They also need to reimburse us all of the out of pocket expenses for inspection reports, any future attorney fees to remove a mechanic's lien that they placed on our property.

In response to the numerous issues the [redacted]s listed (some that we are hearing about for the first time) I have attached documentation, for your consideration, that either refutes or explains each one. I have also included a list of what is known as "Customer Service / Warranty" concerns that were discussed previously but were not resolved because we were repeatedly denied access to the home.

l' d like to emphasize that until it came time for the [redacted]s to make the final payment, there was great communication between all of us and the few issues that existed were well on their way to being resolved. We gave them our complete cooperation. Then they refused to pay and that's when we started hearing about some of the other items (complaints). Prior to that, they repeatedly raved about the remodel to us, our crew, mutual acquaintances and their personal friends.

We've had to file a Mechanic's Lien to protect our investment (products and labor) and retain the services of an attorney.
