These are amazing people to work with. Doug was courteous and really knew his stuff. The workmanship was excellent, exceeding our expectations. They fabricate all the cabinets and counter in house. Instead of a miter seam where the 11' and 7' counter met he suggested putting the seam around the corner under the sink. The pattern was matched beautifully and the joint is so small because the sink covers most of it. Even our plumber commented on how nice the counters were. The fit was perfect. We really like the continuous curve at the back edge of the counter and the way they scribed the top edge of the Formica in place so it fit like a glove with no gaps anywhere. Doug warned us there would be an extra cost for shipping the Formica edge but we really liked the pattern so we ended up waiting almost 6 weeks for Formica to ship it. When it finally arrived they finished the counter in just a day or two. We are so pleased with Custom Designers and have been recommending them to everyone.
