I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.
I would disagree on "customer satisfaction is the utmost importance" to MrSoots I agree and think it is an excellent idea to have a neutral third party inspect the gutters.However, MrS*** view of the facts are skewed as far as how he presents them and he leaves out details
1) Initial issue I had he ran out of material for ice breakers and spaced them 3-feet apart on the horse arena which was not proper or discussed2) I have pictures regarding how he pieced and screwed gutter extensions together and did not follow up with fixing the gutter extensions until I canceled the check.MrS*** following points I have provided a response under each point.1. Mr*** states in the original estimate, he was quoted for foot extensions on every downspout. First of all, I would never put foot extensions on every downspout as it would present a trip hazard and well as would look gaudy. Mr*** has downspouts on his property and that would be feet and I would not have missed including that much footage in an estimate(MrS*** is incorrect nowhere did I ask for foot extensions I asked him in the initial quote for extensions that would be long enough to shoot the water away from the house and the horse arena At that point MrS*** said "so about foot extensions?" I said "Yes, that I think will work on the house." I then stated "You will do the same on the other structures?" MrS***'s stated he would Then when he started putting them up he put up little foot extensions However, the issue now is not the length of the gutter extensions, its the fact that some do not touch the ground on the horse arena2. Mr*** states that Custom Designs committed to putting all hangers feet (inces) apart. I did not tell Mr*** that I would place hangers feet apart, but instead told him what I tell all of my prospective clients, which is that I place my hangers 18-inches apart which is within the required code of no more than inches apartTo the best of my knowledge, the hangers were placed per my practice of 18-inches apart. If the third party neutral inspector finds otherwise, I will be happy to make corrections to honor my 18-inch practice
(I am fine with in gutter hangers, because this is what I was told However, I cant find many gutter hangers that are 16-inches apart, a vast majority are all feet and over feet apart all over the structures
