Review: I sent a Thompson Center PA Hunter flintlock rifle wit h a money order of $475 on 07/ 24/ 14 t o [redacted] of Custom Diamonds to have the

stock refinished. It was to be scheduled for the second week of August . After getting the runaround for months , I sent an email a week ago

demanding the gun back whether finished or not and also requested a refund if it was not finished. He refused and stated in an email that I

would get it when he was finished and I would just have to wait . He is either the most unprofessional business person ever or he is running a web scam and has stolen my firearm as he refuses to send it back t o me. I have copies of all correspondence. After being in business for over 10 years I can assure you we are running a legit business that provides custom wood engraving services with many satisfied customers. Every customers gun stock has been completed and returned safely in the history of our business. This year has been hard to catch up on the back log due to a overflow of work coming in and unforeseen circumstances of life.

Review: On November 21, 2013 I mailed my gun stock to Custom Diamond Inc. along with $300.00 payment. I have had many phone calls and emails throughout the year promising my stock was "almost" ready or "it's ready". I have all email correspondence saved. On May 23rd 2014, the business owner said he would ship my gun next week. On August 8, 2014 the business owner said he would contact me next week with "good news". On 10/22/14, he stated "any day now". On 10/27/14 he emailed and said "Wednesday I hope". On November 10, 2014, after being more than patient, I called the business owner and his reply was "chill out with the phone calls, I'll get it when I get it". My reply was "ship it back". After I told him to ship my stock back he hung up the phone. This is the worst example of how to run a business I have ever witnessed. He has had my stock for 1 year now and I have a gun that is useless without a stock!Desired Settlement: I either want my stock back "as is" along with a refund of the $300 I paid and received nothing in return OR my gun stock completed as promised.

Review: Business refinishes wood gun stocks. I am restoring an antique shotgun. Owner requested full payment to be sent with stock pieces. A check for full amount and gun stock was sent on 1/17/13. E-mail from owner indicated stock would be finished in approx. 30 days. Inquiries of status were sent by me via e-mail on 3/7 and 4/1, replies indicated my stock pieces were nearing completion. E-mail from me on 4/24 requested stock pieces be sent back regardless of state of completion so that I could re-assemble the shotgun. To date (5/18), I have not received my stock. I have not only lost the cost of the work ($250.00), but the shotgun is now worthless without the stock. I have retained all correspondence to document this statement.Desired Settlement: Return the stock pieces via ups. If the work was not done, return my payment less the cost of shipping. If the work has been done, return the stock and keep the payment.

The intention was to finish and checker the wood stock in a timely manner, as always. There have been delays with an overload of work, family and tool issues. We did stay in contact with the customer. Yes we did take longer than expected, however the quality of the work turned out beautiful. The job was completed and returned to the customer.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 9548012, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

I have received the parts. Work done was, in fact, very good.

I feel the wait of four months justified my concern. I feel I was fair since I offered the business the option of returning the parts unfinished before I submitted the complaint.

Review: Sent Mr [redacted] 650.00 in October of 2013 to finish and checker my gun stock.On Jan 7th of 2014 Mr [redacted] emailed me finish looks great just about ready for checkering I want to complete before months end. I emailed [redacted] Feb 26th to check on progress and on feb 27th he wrote custom shops keeping me busy KEEP YOUR PATIENTS I will have it done in March some time. I feel that I have been more than patient And waited till May 2nd to email him on progress, and on that same day said he would have it done by May 16th 2014 please hang in there.I again emailed him May 31st 2014 and on June 1st he wrote picking up a few more details 2 weeks max, i'm at the finish line.I again emailed [redacted] on June 17th to check on progress and no response, so I wrote him again on June 22nd and on June 24th he wrote still working on it. I again wrote [redacted] on July 8th and on July 10th he wrote just back from vacation already working on completion have it in the mail next week.I wrote [redacted] July 18th seeing if my cousin got in contact with him because the stock was not getting mailed but being picked up by them being that they dont live far from [redacted]. [redacted] wrote back that same day saying after sealing the checkering saw some rough stuff that needed cleaning up I need 2 more week ends to finish up. Then after really keeping my patients called [redacted] in Nov 2014 some time and he assured my that it would be done by months end, so I emailed him on Dec 1st 2014 and he wrote me back that he would have it done Dec 10th an early christmas present I called him Dec 12th and he told me on the phone keep your patients all most done. [redacted] then wrote me Jan 6th 2015 saying it would be done Jan 19th and he would do his best to make this happen. Well after no call or email from him I called him and requested my money back and he said he does not give refunds it says that on his web site. On Jan 29th I got on the Revdex.com web site and looked him up and found that I was not the only one being lied to and that all the things he was telling me he was telling them word for word. He again wrote me on Feb 12th 2015 that it would be completed on Feb 23rd so I called [redacted] todayFeb 23rd and he told me next monday my cousin could pick it up he would get in contact with her.Desired Settlement: The desired out come would be that if the work is not completed by Mar 2nd 2015 I would like my 650.00 and the stock.
