Custom Energy Design

Brandon and his team of professionals completely renovated our air delivery systems in March of 2019. Initially, Brandon did a complete "as is audit" and went through the attic to survey the existing delivery system and duct work status. Upon his final review he outlined the potential problem areas, several key causes for poor air delivery and lack of proper ventilation for one of our furnace/AC units. He provided a very detailed analysis, that included many other facets of potential inefficient culprits such as our can lights, air returns, ceiling vents and fans. After providing us the quote and details related to their process we engaged Custom Energy Design to carry out the full recommendation. His team showed up on time, they were neat and clean, showed great respect for our home and belongings, and went about their work. In just two days they installed a full Radiant Barrier in the attic, rebuilt and re-routed inefficient ductwork, installed a delay device on each AC unit to improve performance and efficiency, repaired each individual ventilation grate and sealed all air returns and vents, installed additional blown in insulation to an R-60 level, installed 50 new airtight ceiling lights, cleaned our evaporation coils on both AC units, installed a new cold air return to allow our one unit to breath. They cleaned up any and all areas of work and walked us through to ensure that we were indeed satisfied. Lastly Brandon conducted another air tight test and our results were vastly improved. So what, our bills are down, our units are far more efficient, we have a much improved and cooler house AND we have noticed far fewer small insects! We have tax credits and we know that our home is far more energy efficient and a lifetime warranty on their work. Brandon and his team are simply the best and truly professional. We highly recommend them without any reservations.

I had my attic done 2 months ago after Custom Energy Design tested my home and found that it was 47% inefficient. Mostly from insulation, duct leaks, can lights not self sealed, etc. They measured before and after with their pressure tests. I was totally blown away the results. My last 2 electric bills have been cut in half. I have never wrote a review before mostly because I wasn't that impressed but this company deserves this. Brandon the Project Manager and his team were professional and explained every question I had. I will save 26K in the next 10 years.
