Custom Home Services did a great job with my Solar installation. It was seamless and I am enjoying the savings of having solar.

My feedback here is for Custom Home Services and the representative Brad, with whom I worked. It was a fairly hard sell approach but the pricing was competitive to the other companies I had approached. The plan was for a system to produce 100% of my electricity needs with solar and it has met this as predicted. The company contracted for installation and after-sales service has been very responsive to the very few technical issues I have had.

Monitoring was of the system is easy and I have been notified about problems both through my own personal watching as well as the call center.

I had no electricity bills for 10 months and then paid a total of $220 total for the year. This reflected my resetting of the indoor temperature that resulted in higher usage. Our contract also included roof replacement.
Rebate received was as predicted.
I did do my own extensive research into solar prior to engaging in quotes for the project.

Custom Home Services was very informative, and had the best product at the best price. I highly recommend going with this company. You will not be disappointed!

I highly recommend this company to anyone who is in the market to reduce their utility bills. I even referred someone and received a $500 check from CHS!

We had several solar contractors give us estimates for our new solar system and they ranged by tens of thousands of dollars. We kept getting conflicting information and inflated estimates. Brad was incredibly informative and straight to the point. He gave us exactly what we needed. We'll definitely be referring Custom Home Services in the future.

The presentation was very informative and given so you can understand every word. Mr. R answered all my questions I had and told me if I ever need more info to just call him. He made me feel comfortable knowing I was making the right decision to go solar. I can't wait for the work to begin and start saving by having solar. Thank you.

I met with Brad S who claims to be the sales Manager for Custom Home Services, he made promises about the warranties, discounts, tax benefits, home values and resale value and documentation for a solar system that I have yet to receive, I tried to confirm the business and read 3 reviews when I asked if he had others he said yes when I viewed the website again there were 5 and 3 of them were employees including Brad as one of them, I called the office because Brad would not return my calls and there was no answer I tried all listed numbers and they all went to voicemail and all had a full mailbox I also sent E-Mail messages I still have not gotten any documents, I found out that *** is the contractor for the project and either of them will call me, e-mail, I want to cancel the project and have been since the day after I signed the documents I contacted several folks regarding Brads claims and they all said his statements were not factual and on top of all that the contract is not his it is with *** I believe both to be working together and not to be trusted

Issues starts with the sale of the system. During negotiations we were promised a check of $1000 dollars from our sales consultant and his sales manager, Shane and Alex if we purchased the system. We ended up getting the system through Custom Solar (sales) via ***. We had spoken to them through text, and phone calls where we were again told this was part of the sale in order to assist with demand charges while we build credits.

My wife and I agreed to get the system and eventually agreed to a price of $88.00 a month. During the loan signing process, I noticed the loan payment went up from the negotiated price to $99 a month. I called Shane or Alex as soon as I saw this and confronted them about it. I was informed that the payment would drop $10 a month if I signed up for automatic withdraw. I refused to sign unless the loan reflected the price we agreed to. They eventually lowered it back down to the negotiated price.

Now to the check, the system has been installed since January and the paperwork signed since last November. The system finally went live on February 25th. We still haven't received the check and the customer service rep Jack (***) stated he knew nothing about it and had no information for me about the sales agreement. Now, the last 3 weeks I have been trying to reach someone about this issue only to be ignored. I was constantly told they notified their sales department which I was never contacted by. Multiple emails, and 3 direct calls to *** still got me no where. Jack finally provided me a phone number for their sales.

On 03/14/2019, I called Custom Solar Builds directly and spoke to a receptionist. I explained my issued and she immediately apologized. She said Shane and Alex were no longer with the company, and that was why She said they would get me what I was promised, and would have her manger call. Days later I still have not received a call.
