We bought our home in April of 2019. It is under warranty and we are having issues with the heating and AC. When Custom Mechanics came out in September they said the vents were taped off and that's why we weren't getting heat in our bedrooms and downstairs accept for in the master. They removed the tape which helped a little. However the master bedroom with 2 of the vents closed gets to 75 degrees while the rest of the house is at 64 to 66 degrees on a good day 68. We were told the dampers need to be adjusted to make the temperature even thru the house but that is a preference to have equal heating throughout and so they will not come back out to correct the problem. Our house is still under warranty and they refuse to come out or they will charge me for a service call. The bedrooms are so cold we can't even put our baby in her room. We had to buy a fireplace to keep the downstairs warm enough for her. The issue started before she was born and still isn't resolved. We have asked thru our warranty and we have dealt direct with Custom Mechanical with the owner and they refuse to fix it. We are now coming up on the end of our warranty and I've gotten no where.

I am rejecting this response because: they have only come to our home one time. They never came on September 16th and when they came on the 4th the dampers were duct taped shut. It was never told to us that eould be the one and only time they would come and it was a courtesy. It is not just an airflow issue as now that summer is here the master still stays 70 or above and the baby's room is 64, there is something wrong with the unit. I did say I would not pay as it is still under warranty. No one showed us how to adjust dampers. Also the filter box is still not squared up making it dangerous to change the filter and nearly impossible. I requested for the owner to come himself and show me how to adjust the dampers if he feels thats what needs to be done. He also told Donny with Tuscany homes he would be out to fix the issues and never called nor showed up.

As previously noted we did attempt to show the customer how to adjust their own dampers, since this is a personal preference issue. The filter box cover is damaged due to the customer removing and replacing it themselves. None of these items are covered by warranty.
