I am responding to this complaint made by [redacted] in regards to the non-refundable puppy deposit that was placed on August 19, towards the next available puppy, due to the fact that I cannot control the amount of puppies or sex they will be when they are born and their wanting a male puppy which there was not a male available from this particular litter and puppies are placed in the order of depositsDue to their misunderstanding I am willing to terminate the contract and return the $non-refundable deposit to themI contacted [redacted] after receiving a certified mail notice wanting to know what the letter was in regards to since the post office hours would prevent me from picking up the letter for a couple of daysI told him I did not have the initial $deposit to send to him, at that timeHowever, the $had been set aside and could be sentMy reputation is very important to me so in order to maintain my good reputation I contacted my attorney asking her advice about a document to release both of us from any further obligationAt this time my attorney said she would draft a letter which I sent out the same day as receivingIt was sent by Priority Certified Mail and delivery was attempted on the following MondayWhen I had not heard back from the [redacted] s I proceeded by sending a Cashier's Check with the $additional payment, again by Certified Priority MailIn an attempt to resolve this matter as requested by the [redacted] s, I am willing to refund their non-refundable deposit however, as I stated to [redacted] of not having the $available at the time I had to receive my check in order to comply with their request, at which time I told him I am on Social Security (these are once a month checks)

I have not received any money from this personUpon receiving the $I will consider the matter resolved

which there was not a male available from this particular litter and puppies are placed in the order of deposits. Due to their misunderstanding I am willing to terminate the contract and return the $500 non-refundable deposit to them. I contacted [redacted] after receiving a certified mail notice wanting to know what the letter was in regards to since the post office hours would prevent me from picking up the letter for a couple of days. I told him I did not have the initial $500 deposit to send to him, at that time. However, the $400 had been set aside and could be sent.
