Review: [redacted] ripped out our old bathroom and completely remodeled it in the late winter to early spring of last year. He did a great job, but as we told him numerous times, his communication and customer service skills need work. He states that he guarantees his work for a yearbut he doesn't stand behind that. Shortly after the bathroom work was completed, the grout around the window and on the walls cracked in a lot of places. When we called him to come re-grout, he blamed us, telling us that we chose the wrong tile for the walls. The truth is, we've seen many places that use the same tile on the walls and floor (including Home Depot) and we always check the grout and it is not cracked. He begrudgingly came to fix it after we called him several times. FIRST, he charged us for supplies, THEN he didn't re-grout around the window and within a week the wall grout started cracking again. We waited to see how bad it would get, and at the start of this year called him to come and fix it again. He told us, "If you would just sell the house, we wouldn't have to deal with this." Then he said he would call us and come by after work one day. It is now July, and we are STILL waiting for that call. We have called him several times, and he sends the calls to voicemail and does not return them. We have a beautiful bathroom with grout falling off the wall around the window, and cracks in the grout all throughout the shower. This seems like it could be an issue because water can get in through the cracks and possible create a mold situation over time.Desired Settlement: There are two options:1. I would like for [redacted] to show up and fix the grout.If [redacted] does not know how to grout properly, I would like him to 2. Pay someone who does know how to come and finish the job. I think integrity is very important, and I would like [redacted] to stand behind his work and finish the job the way he says that he would.
