Custom Seat Cover Shop

Review: I took my 2003 VW Beetle Convertible to Custom Seat Cover Shop on November 10, 2014 to have the door panels re-upholstered. I arrived at the shop to pick up my vehicle at 3:50 and my car was still in parts as if they had just started to work on it. I waited for over an hour and then took the car. Immediately after leaving the shop I had a chance to look at the work and it was poorly done. The upholstered inset had numerous bumps and the plastic trim was cracked in three places. They used big silver screws on the interior pieces of plactic to attach to the door. I called back and spoke with Owner's son who had done the work and asked him about this. He stated that heat would probably help some of the bumps and that the plastic breaks when they take off the door and the screws were to re-attach. I then called the next morning and asked to speak with the Owner [redacted]. I explained what had happened the prior day and he seemed mad and told me that he would refund my money. I asked him if I could bring it back and let them fix it correctly and he did not want to deal with me at all. Also, the driver's door panel had not been replaced at all. I went that afternoon to pick up my refund and asked him to come outside to look at the car. He refused and said that he felt all he wanted to do was refund my money. I then asked if I had upset him in any way by questioning the work and he stated the best way to handle things was to refund my money and for me to go somewhere else and buy new parts so I would be happy. The door looks horrible and can not be repaired. I can honestly say I have never been treated so poorly by a business.Desired Settlement: I intend on going tomorrow and getting a estimate to have the door fixed properly and to have the driver's door repaired. I would like for Mr. [redacted] to reimburse me the total cost of the passenger door replacement and repair of the driver's door. I would also like a apology for the horrible way I was treated.
