Michelle is unprofessional, difficult to work with, and dishonestWe were informed that her husband, Mike, has always been able to fit blinds in an arch windowHowever, he was not successful after two attempts for two different arches in our homeMichelle blamed it on the shape of our archesDuring the installation, Mike needed to cut the keystone in our archWe were told that Mike would replace the damaged keystone; however, to date we still have not received the replacementDespite the fact that we were required to pay the full amount upfront, we had to accept receiving the refund in installmentsMichelle reneged times on her commitment to refund us by a certain dateWe finally received the last payment months after we initially were told we would receive a refundMichelle blamed the delayed refund on the manufacturerOver the course of the months since we first reached out to Michelle, she has refused to communicate by talking on the phoneEven prior to the failed installation, Michelle would not answer her phone or return voice mailsIf it were not for my persistence, we still would not have our refundI do not recommend purchasing from this company

I was extremely impressed with Mike and Michelle - great husband and wife team They speak highly of the industry and their boysVery family oriented and we felt very comfortable purchasing our shutters They were delivered early and Mike is also the installerHe did a great job and took his time Thanks so much for a great experience

I advertise my Business on Social Media - *** *** reached out to me in a private message regarding some left over shutters I had in Storage to see if they would fit any of her windows - She sent me the sizes and none would fit her windows. She then scheduled a time for me to come meet with
her and give her a quote. She was interested in Interior Plantation Shutters for her Kitchen, Breakfast Area, Master Bedroom and Sitting Areas. I quoted the job and the quote was over $22,000. She called her husband from his office and he looked at the quote and said it was too much money. He asked if that was the best price I could give. I said I may be able to get it a bit lower depending if he did the entire job. (I get a discount from the Manufacturer when I order a certain amount of Square footage. She wanted to show me the Home (it is a 2-Million dollar home not furnished(I assumed they had just moved in. Her Dining Room was nice and had a beautiful table. I commented that I was looking for a new dining room suite - she said I have one at my other house if you want to see it. I asked how much she was asking (I was sure it was going to be nice because the home they live in is very nice. I followed her over to the old house and when I looked at it, I asked her again how much She said $I said I would buy it. After numerous emails back and forth we negotiated bartering $1500.00-later when we picked up the Dining Suite - The armoire was included for $500.00. I did make the mistake of adding the furniture together on the invoice stating it was for 2250.00. *** called and texted numerous times over the course of a week negotiating a price. He asked if we finance for months - my reply was no. He kept asking and finally we came to the agreement of $down and bartering the furniture and monthly payments of $1571.43. They picked out the louver size, what configuration they wanted, and emailed us the paint name and number which is all we need if they do not have a physical sample which they did not. Mr*** email states the paint name and number for us to use. We do not take the responsibility of picking the paint color. This is the customers responsibility. I had a Legal Document drawn up outlining the terms and sent it via email to *** ***. I have several texts asking if he had received it and he always stated no it never came thru. After weeks of sending it numerous times which he still to date never signed. The only thing he has signed was that he gave us $7000.00. We held off ordering the shutters to see if he was going to make good on the signed agreement and the first monthly payment. He did make Junes payment but still would never sign the agreement. We were not that concerned being they were a neighbor and considering the Home they lived inYou would think they could afford it. The size of the job would be a minimum of 8-weeks and this is in writing to them. We also stated verbally that since they were doing a couple windows in Stained Wood - it does take extra time to get the stain correct and have them sign off on a strike match. They were fine with this. Why wouldn't they be - they have not even paid half yet on a custom order. All Custom Ordered Window Treatments are paid in full at the timeExceptions will be made on a case by case basis. They did pay July payment as wellThe shutter order was sent in the to the Manufacturer on June 15th to be put into production. *** contacted me via phone at the week mark and asked when her shutters would be in that I am very "excited " I am nervous though because we gave you $on an order and we have no shutters. I explained that I have $22,in shutters ordered and only a small portion of money from them and that I was getting nervous since they have yet to sign the agreement. She went off on me screaming and yelling. Words were exchanged and we hung up. This went on for the next several weeks of them harassing us via texts. After we did not receive Septembers payment - they stated they are not paying anymore until they get the shutters. Mind you at this point including the barter of the furniture they had invested $13,to us on over $22,in shutters. We had no signed agreement and had paid for these shutters to the manufacturer. At this time we started to be very concerned that we would not be paid. I offered at one time to credit them Decembers payment(last one) due to the delay. Yes, I didn't process shutters immediately, due to the only reason of no signature on the contract. When time came to install, on advice from our attorney, we installed only what has been paid to date. We also gave them a cashiers check for $and a personal check for $3.56- after calculating what they paid - this is what we owed them. This new invoice and the refund was in an envelope. During the installation process both Mrand Mrs*** walked around and commented numerous times how beautiful the shutters were and what a great job *** was doing. *** *** called Mr*** into the kitchen and pointed out that the paint sample and name of paint provided buy them does not match their trim. They had different paint colors on their trim thru out the home and a painter was there painting and repairing water damage to ceiling and other windows where trim was damaged from the water. Mr *** was fine with the color being off. The Master matched perfectly. *** took pictures of the installed shutters. While he was working in the Master Mrs *** came in and asked if he could repair some shutters in the basement. I didn't even know there were shutters in the basement. *** said they were Vinyl and they were "junk " and broken. He was not going to touch them. Our shutters are made out of Real Wood and Custom Painted. When *** was finished he handed Mr*** the envelope and stated"we will not be installing the remaining shutters until you pay for them. This is when it started of all the lies that the shutters were junk and *** damaged all their trim and painted the shutters the wrong color. After we stated that we will install the other shutters once they are paid for. *** has since Slandered my name and business on Social Media and my attorney is now involved. She was sent a cease and demand letter to remove all negative comments and a Slander and Defamation of Character suit is being filed. She has since removed all comments and has stopped harassing us via phone and text. I have documentation on everything I have stated along with the letter from the attorney. I have pictures as well of the shutters that were installed. They were installed perfectly. They are upset because I did not continue a payment arrangement that was agreed upon. We agreed on it if they signed the arrangement. I have documentation via email and texting of the sent contract and the texts from him. If you have any other questions or concerns please let me know and I will forward them to our attorney. We have many customers in the neighborhood where she has posted stating comments of how happy they were with our service and product. She also has been slandering other businesses on Social Media as well. She has lied on us and our documentation is complete and accurate. There is no refund due to this customer. They have received exactly what they ordered in regards to style, etc and there is no balance due from them or refund from us. If they want the remaining windows, they will need to pay for them up front like all customers do when they Custom Order Window Treatments.
