customer that since we were a small company, we could not afford to wait one month for payment of work done and since he could not honor his agreement to pay when work was performed, the only way we would complete his project was for him to prepay for building materials. He disagreed, although sometimes hard to understand verbal communication with him, we don't have anyone on staff that speaks Spanish and with his New York accent is hard to understand, but when he verbally threatened two employees with physical violence, we decided to discontinue work on his project. After several attempts to collect payment, we have turned the matter over to our lawyer, he currently owes $5,000 for extra grading , engineered plans and concrete. No one for the company has signed his name for anything, we don't get permits, customer is responsible for those. After changing building size, there was an additional cost for plans that we have not received payment for. Our concern for our safety and failure to pay as agreed, we believe that he is just New Yorker trying to hustle someone.

He went down to [redacted] County tax office and got the initial permit which he forged my signature on. I have all the text message communication that he sent to me about the permit which include a picture of the permit he posted on the pole at the gate. The size of the building changed when he asked my if I mind changing to a bigger building because he had extra material left over from a customer that passed away. We had the size of the land to make the change so we agreed on the change. The concrete change came when he asked me if I wanted to save some money. He talked me into applying for a permit in which no county inspector would do an inspection. This way we would not have to put a footing down. Instead of the four inches of concrete we went with six inches on the shop and keep the price the same. I have been contacted by another person that Mr. M[redacted] has problems with and I also found a news article about Mr. M[redacted] doing the same. I speak English very well and there is no communication problems with me speaking and writing. I have all the text messages and email communications between us. My lawyer has tried to contact him and he is no where to be found. There were no engineering plans submitted when he got the initial permit, that’s how I found out he forged my signature. I have never spoken with any of his associates as he is the only person I know that works for this company. I have tried to contact him and he refuses to answer me or my lawyer. He owes me money and now I know of someone else he has done this to.
