Regarding the complaint issued from ***, I apologize I haven't replied since I was out of townAccording to my employee *** the night she came in December, there were three people in the party and
asked for separate checksSomeone from the party asked to cash a $dollar bill, I was at the bar that same night and cashed it for my employeeHe went back and brought the change and handed it to themThe party of three sat there for a long time, I don't know if they did it on purpose or they forgot to pay, but my waiter came back to me right after they left and said they left without paying the bill and only left $bill on the tableThe bill holder was empty with three separate checks that were never paidSo in March my employee was working that day and this individual was seated at his stationHe recognized her and went to ask her to pay, with a witness (employee - ***) at his sideShe got really upset and mad and agreed to pay and pulled her credit card out and paidThe original bill was $and he asked to pay the difference which was $because of the $tip
The waiters are responsible for the bill when someone walks out and doesn't pay because they are their own bankIt's unfortunate that my employees have to pay the bill when sometimes people who had been drinking and walk out on them without paying the billShe is not the only one and the other two didn't pay either because the bill was split in three ($57) total billRegarding the comment about the restaurant stopped and being harassed, I don't believe that because my employee is professional and one of the best employees I haveAccording to the witness my waiter went to the table and simply asked for her to pay the bill that wasn't paid the last time she and friends were thereShe paid and did not ask for the manager if she felt she was wrongThe $that she wants back she is not going to get it backPeople who walk out without paying their bill should be out of the premisesI apologize for the convenience but people do forget to pay the bill after a few drinks
