First of all I would like to apologize for any inconvenience this has caused *** ***We have never denied her to diagnose or repair her transmission while under warrantyTo rebuild a transmission is a major repairOne week to rebuild it is the average time it takes in most shops. We
rebuilt the transmission on ***'s Isuzu Trooper on March 23, Two days after she picked up her vehicle she called and said that her license plates had been stolen off her vehicle at our shopWe do not have surveillance cameras at our shopThere was no way of knowing when or where her license plates were stolenWe discussed her plates being stolen several times on the phone and I offered to pay for the replacement platesShe said they were not that much and not to worry about it*** also stated that she brought her vehicle back timesThis is just not trueShe brought it back times a huge difference and in most cases it had nothing to do with the rebuilt transmissionShe did bring her vehicle in shortly after I rebuilt it with leaking cooling linesIt was leaking from a previous repair where the cooling lines were cut and repaired with rubber hoseThis repair had not been done at my shopI repaired the the problem at no cost to her About a month ago *** came to my shop and said her transmission was binding up in when she was turning left or rightI said ok lets take it for a test driveAs I was diagnosing it I realized that she had it in wheel driveI put her transfer case shifter into wheel drive and that fixed her problemI was explaining to her that you can not be driving in wheel drive on dry pavementShe started screaming at me " Why *** *** didn't you tell me that!!! Why *** *** didn't anybody tell me that"! She continued to scream hysterically at me I remained calm and returned to my shopAs we pulled up to the shop my wife Doris Garcia came out because *** was still screaming profanities at the top of her lungsThen she started threatening to beat her up and calling her the worst names you could imagine and that I can not repeat in this letterShe did say she would be back to break all our windows and vandalize our propertyI have never heard a woman screaming such profanities in public like this beforeI advised her if she continued I would have to call the policeShe disregarded anything I said so I did call Denver Police DeptShe sped off before they arrivedThey said I could press charges, I elected not to because they were just verbal threatsI have always treated *** with respect and honored her warrantyShe has always been very rude and uses profanity to get her message acrossI have been in the industry years and have been rebuilding transmissions for yearsI can assure you that her transmission was rebuilt with new parts and a new rebuilt converter( At a very fair price)I give all my customers month warranty it is standardShe has a month warranty which is now upThe last time I drove her vehicle it was working properly which was about a month ago.I was not aware that *** did not know how to engage and disengage her vehicle into wheel driveI would not have had a problem teaching her how or when to use your wheel drive optionI take pride in my work and care of my customersMost of my business is word of mouth and repeat businessBecause I recently drove ***'s vehicle and it was working properly and the fact that it is months out of warranty I decline to refund her any moneyI also hope that with my response that I do not incur any vandalism to my shop or customer vehiclesI will be getting surveillance cameras in the near futureSincerely Lupe Garcia
