Was charged for an Urgent Care visit instead of office visit at the Immediate Care, even though was I was told I would be billed for an office visit
I have taken my kids to the Hammond Clinic Immediate care for years and have been billed for a regular office visit I took my son in March and at the time was told (like every other time)that the visit would be billed like a regular office visit and I don't have a copay for office visits I received a bill for Urgent Care, and they were charging me a *** copayment I called the office and they said they were research and get back to me, that was in May That same day, I called the clinic and asked for Immediate Care and spoke to *** I asked her and she told me that they have been told to tell patients that they were going to be billed for a regular office visit
It was not posted that they changed to Urgent Care when I took my son in March Now I took him there in September and there is a big sign that says URGENT CARE on
