On Monday Dec 26, 2016 I went to Ira Toyota in Manchester, NH with the intention of leasing a Tacoma. After looking at there specials on there website and a getting a quick quote, and an actual quote in the dealership regarding monthly payment after running my credit, we agreed to a lease of $[redacted] monthly for 36 months. After sitting around waiting for over 2 hours for the finance department to speak with me and get and the paper work done, I was told while signing the lease agreement that the new lease price would be increased by $40. monthly, at this point I was just frustrated with the process and accepted the terms. I told the truck on that night thinking that the process was over, only to receive a phone call on Tuesday decemeber 27th from Fausto G[redacted] claiming that he had some great news for me. While speaking to him I was told that my lease payment has increased by $15 weekly to for a total of $60 monthly, (grand total $100) after telling him that I thought that we had agreed to a dealer the previous day and that I thought that all the lease agreement was signed I was told that, those agreement was not final, because there was never a approval from the bank for the lease, and if I don't sign the new lease agreement that would have to return the truck or it will be repossessed. I was told that the bank was concerned that I will not be able to make my payments due to my credit score and wanted some assurance hence the reason for the increase in pricing. I find this to be a very unfair practice of providing customer with a product before getting approval, and the changing the terms of the agreement.
