Mr [redacted] purchased a set of our listed "affordable spoke wheels by ***"The rear wheels were held up due to a dock worker strike at the port of entry, and I advised him it may be days to weeks to receive the rear wheelsHe advised to send the front wheels, and cancel the rear wheelsUpon receiving the front wheels Mr [redacted] contacted us and stated he couldn't find the rear wheels to match the front ones he purchasedI advised him that the wheels were made by [redacted] as listed on our website where the product description and price are locatedHe advised he thought he was buying [redacted] I advised him these same wheels where previously sold as such, but the manufacturer decided not to continue to license the name of [redacted] Mr [redacted] became furious and advised me he would like to return the wheelsI advised him of our return policy, and that he would be responsible for return shipment of his wheels, and I forwarded him a return authorization # and address to the manufacturer to return the wheelsThe following day, Mr [redacted] threatened to call the Revdex.com, as well as slander my company on the internet forum boardsThat same day I forwarded Mr [redacted] a set of shipping labels to return the wheels at my costHe advised that he had already shipped the wheels, and proceeded with slandering my companies nameMr [redacted] has not been very cooperative throughout this nor has he attempted to reasonably communicate with my meMr [redacted] will be receiving his refund in the amount that he paid to US for what he paid for the wheels and the freight to him as soon as I receive confirmation from the manufacturer they have received the wheels back in undamaged conditionThank You

However, Mr***'s characterization of the issue is not accurateCustom Works clearly misrepresented this product on their websiteThe invoice attached to this complaint demonstrates this misrepresentationCustom Works revised their website to correct the advertisementCustom Works has not responded to my attempts to contact them and have not responded to emailsI contacted the Revdex.com after Custom Works declined my request for reimbursement and stopped responding to my correspondencesI do not feel this action is slanderous, but an attempt to professionally resolve a disputeI have not posted any negative information about Mr*** or Custom Works Products on the web forum that directed me to their company. As a consumer I am grateful for the protection offered by the Revdex.com as well as the Federal Trade CommissionThis transaction demonstrates the risk consumers take when making purchases using the internet

As I explained to you before, I will not share my business information with you or your organization. I have provided my customer with his correct due refunded amount, he received an email with the transaction of funds credited to his credit card. He has made NO attempts to contact me regarding this and apparently is not providing you with all of the information he has received. I'm following up on my complaint against Custom Works ProductsOn February 26, I received a response from Custom Works Products through the Revdex.comIn the response Custom Works Products stated they would send a refund when the returned items were verified as being received without damage. I have yet to receive a refundDo you have an update on this complaint? Thank you for your assistance

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that the partial refund submitted by Custom Works Products is acceptable. It's unfortunate that vendor took more than forty days to reimburse me for this transaction.

Review: Custom Works Products misrepresented a product on its website. They list a wheel as an "[redacted]" on their website as well as on the invoice for this purchase. However, the wheel is actually made by a company called [redacted] Cuatom Works Products refuses to reimburse the cost of shipping to return the item they misrepresented.Desired Settlement: I would like to be reimbursed for the cost of return shipping in the amount of $87.28. I would also like to be refunded the cost of the items purchased in the amount of $318.00.

However, Mr. [redacted]'s characterization of the issue is not accurate. Custom Works clearly misrepresented this product on their website.
