Customer Service of America “CSA” provides live, bi-lingual, assistance to callers hours a day, days a year. CSA values feedback from all of
our customers and the first priority is to provide exceptional customer service. The $fee charged is $cheaper than what Airlines charge to have credit card payments processed by a live representative. It is also lower than several Utility Companies that process credit card payments by a live representative. It is important to note, that once a customer sets up a PrePaid account, they automatically receive a 10% discount on their calling rates.
One payment method that CSA offers is payment by money order. These money orders are processed on the same day they are received with no additional cost to the customer. One recommendation given to our customers is to set up the account with an initial credit card payment. When further funds are needed for the account, the customer is advised they may send in a money order.
Another option is for the Inmate at the correctional facility to purchase Debit calling time out of their commissary account at a discounted rate. This eliminates the need for customers to establish a PrePaid account with CSA
The Board of Directors at CSA are strong supporters in helping combat the high rates of Inmate calls, and we do not add any additional taxes or fees to the rate of the calls. CSA does not gouge the public and we do offer alternatives payments at lower rates. Prior to receiving this complaint, CSA had already scheduled a trial price reduction. Effective February 12, with the new rates listed below.
Live agent payment fees will be $5.95. On-line web payment fees will be $3.00. In the near future we will offer IVR options. These fees will be $3.00. As stated previously, money order processing will continue to be provided at no cost.
