Dear Revdex.com, We have investigated this complaint and found that the incorrect version of the database purchased by this customer was delivered in errorThe [redacted] that handled this customers complaint emails has been terminated for not correcting the problem when reportedThis is unacceptable and a violation of our company policyCustomer satisfaction and service is very important to us and we want to help this customer get the latest version of the database as promisedWe will not only deliver the correct, updated version of this database, but also provide a second database for free, if the customer would likeWe will contact this customer to apologize and provide access to their new database

I am rejecting this response because:their web site has a 100% satisfaction guarantee yes, but the problem is my login doesn't work They emailed me saying they are like *** with digital down loads Well, *** keeps receipts of all purchases regardless of when they update their servers and even if some ones device breaks or computer crashes they can still re download the product they purchased So if they are like *** as they state why would I have to rebut a product I have already purchased from them just because they changed their servers This is bad business So I am not asking for anything I haven't purchased I want my login back and that is all There is so much data I purchased to just save it to my computer They understand this and that is why they give us, the customers, a login to access the data we have purchased This should be an easy fix for this company to just give me my login back This to me is a scam To cut off a customers access just because they chose to change systems is wrongIf they don't fix the situation it shows they are not a trustworthy company and I will do whatever I can to make the consumers know what they are dealing with

We have repeatedly explained to this customer that we are not responsible for hosting customer data for lifeOur products are delivered as downloadable files and customers must download them to their computer in order to access and use the databaseThis customer is making accusations that we did not allow him access to his purchase from years ago
This customer lost or misplaced his database from and is now making statements and accusations in an effort to obtain a new database free of chargeWe have offered him a 50% discount, but he refused
CustomLists is in no way perpetrating a scam on this customer or any otherWe have been a leading list broker for over years serving thousands of small businesses, schools, non-profits, research firms and entrepreneurs in Australia, UK, US, Canada and New Zealand

This customer purchased and downloaded a database product from us in and did not communicate any issues or concerns after the purchase for yearsHe seems to believe that we offer a 'satisfaction guarantee for life', but we have never claimed to do soWe have a 100% satisfaction guarantee
policy that is clearly defined on our website, but this does not include "satisfaction for life" for any reason.
This customer agrees that he does not have a product complaintHe is unhappy because he can no longer access his old account after our website and backend system was upgraded in late This system change is irrelevant though because all of our products are delivered in the form of an electronic downloadIn our written terms and conditions, customers are instructed to and responsible for downloading their database files to their computer after purchase- see exerpt belowWe cannot and do not claim to host their database files for them for life.
Per our terms and conditions:
"Free Delivery - All databases are delivered as an electronic downloadUpon verification and completion of your order you will receive your download access credentials on the order confirmation page and to your nominated email addressPlease contact us if you have not received your download access credentials within hours of order verification and completion."
Since we no longer have this customer's old database files or order information in our system, we have offered him a 50% discount for the purchase of a new, updated version of the database he previously purchasedWe apologize for this situation and hope that this customer understands that we simply cannot re-deliver his old database, so we have offered him a new database at the lowest price possible

unacceptable and a violation of our company policy. Customer satisfaction and service is very important to us and we want to help this customer get the latest version of the database as promised. We will not only deliver the correct, updated version of this database, but also provide a second database for free, if the customer would like. We will contact this customer to apologize and provide access to their new database.

This complaint is false and without any evidence.
Customlists has a policy that we are happy to remove any email address in our database upon request by a customer and within a reasonable amount of time, but we searched all of our databases and this person's email address is not...

listed in any of them. There are many data providers in the US and throughout the world that may have this person's email address in their database, but Customlists does not have it and has not sold this data.
