Reference complaint # [redacted] Customer was moved into self storage which was her final destinationUpon delivery of her storage, over one year after the delivery into storage by The MOOving Company, customer hired an unaffiliated moving company to relocate her items from storage to a residence on the Front RangeOnce delivered, customer realized an empty box that once contained Snap on ToolsShe phoned The MOOving Company to file a claim for the missing toolsThe Bill of Lading, for which the customer received a copy from her driver, clearly states that any missing or damaged items must be filed within a day periodCustomer reported her claim to The MOOving Company that was in excess of one year beyond the day filing period.The MOOving Company suggested that she file a claim with the moving company that she hired to pick up her items in storage and delivered to herCustomer stated that the moving company she hired to move her household goods to the Front Range were not responsible.The MOOving Company denied payment of the claim for a number of logical reasons

I am rejecting this response because: I PHONED THE MOVING COORDINATOR AFTER THE LOADERS LEFT AND ASK TO HAVE SOMEONE COME AND LOOK AT THE MANNER IN WHICH THE LOADERS LEFT MY BELONGINGSTHE COORDINATOR IMMEDIATELY DID SOTOLD ME SHE WAS EXTENDING MY TIME TO FILE A CLAIM/COMPLAINT DAYS FROM THE TIME I MOVED INTO MY NEXT RESIDENCE DUE TO THE EXTREMELY POOR WAY MY BELONGINGS WERE THROWN INTO THE UNITSHE AGREED THAT THERE WOULD CERTAINLY BE DAMAGEI ASKED TO BEGIN THE CLAIM THEN AND SHE TOLD ME THE CLAIM NEEDED TO BE ITEMIZED AS TO THE DAMAGE AND I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO DO THAT ACURATELY AT THAT TIME
I ALSO TOLD HER ABOUT THE LOADER THAT TOOK SOME OF MY ITEMS BUT HAD NOT PAID FOPR THEMSHE TOLD ME SHE WOULD MAKE SURE HE PAID FOR THEMI REALIZE SHE HAD NO WAY OF DOING SO OTHER THAN PRESSURE FOR HIM TO DO SOSHE THEN STATE3D 'WE DO NOT HAVE A THEFT PROBLEM'I CALLED THE LOADER TIMES AND HE DID NOT SEND THE FUNDS
ONCE MY ITEMS WERE UNLOADED I REALIZED THE LOADER(S)STOLE MUCH MORE
DELTA COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPT HAS BEEN TRYING TO CONTACT MS W***, OWNER OF THE MOOVING COMPANY FOR SEVERAL MONTHSHE IS ATTEMPTING TO GAIN MORE INFORMATION AND A LIST OF THE COMPANIES EMPLOYEES AT THE TIME OF MY MOVESHE HAS BEEN UNAVAILABLE AND NOT RETURNED HIS CALLSCALL/FULFILL HJIS REQUEST
THE MOOVING COMPANY DOES HAVE A THEFT PROBLEM, MOVING COORDINATOR(S)/LOADERS THAT ARE DISHONEST AND AN OWNER THAT REFUSES TO FOLLOW THROUGH WITH CUSTOMER AND LAW ENFORCEMENT REQUEST
MS W*** DOES NOT TAKE CARE OF HER CUSTOMERS NOR RESPECT THEIR BELONGINGS AND ALLOWS HER STAFF TO DO AS THEY PLEASE WITHOUT FOLLOW THROUGHSHE HAS MADE NO ATTEMPT TO RESOLVE THIS MATTER

She phoned The MOOving Company to file a claim for the missing tools. The Bill of Lading, for which the customer received a copy from her driver, clearly states that any missing or damaged items must be filed within a 30 day period. Customer reported her claim to The MOOving Company that was in excess of one year beyond the 30 day filing period.The MOOving Company suggested that she file a claim with the moving company that she hired to pick up her items in storage and delivered to her. Customer stated that the moving company she hired to move her household goods to the Front Range were not responsible.The MOOving Company denied payment of the claim for a number of logical reasons.

However, we have explained that we have no liability for her lost/stolen items. It is clear that Ms. [redacted] had items in a storage facility that we did not control. She contacted another company to remove these items from storage and take them to another location. The MOOving Company, Inc. was not involved in that. I am rejecting this response because:  The Mooving Company failed to respond to my Revdex.com complaint when it was given the opportunity.  The Mooving Company's legal representative responded to the Better Business Bueau and directly with me after:I visited The Moovng Store August 10 and 11, 2015. After walking around The Mooving Store the second day,  I approached the front counter and heard a discussion between  2 employees.  One of the employees stated 'I don't know how to answer this', and held a paper into the air.  One of the employees stated, 'the statute of limitations will eventually run out" during the conversation. I asked to speak to the owner.  Mrs. W[redacted] came to the front desk I introduced myself and calmly asked her a question regarding items I believe to be mine on her [redacted] store  She became loud and unprofessional.  She stated,'she had seen me taking pictures and she didn't have any of my things'.  During her continued rant, she requested I leave her store.  I quietly complied.The Mooving Store only responded to my complaint following this and through an attorney.  If they had nothing to hide: a) The Mrs. W[redacted] would have returned my calls regarding her moving crew following my move., b)  The Mooving Company had an opportunity to responded on the initial request regarding my complaint, c)  Mrs. W[redacted] had no reason to become so aggressive with me and d)  Mrs. W[redacted] had no need to contact an attorney for whatever reason.
