Judy has been my hair stylist and colorist for over 10 years. I have always had a wonderful experience at their salon and they have always provided excellent service!

The client came in with over 6 inches of hair regrowth, her NATURAL level is dark brown. Any hair lightning product (including Paul Mitchell dual purpose lightner) can only safely lift 4-5 levels without serious damage....

 Obviously if the client had 6 inches of regrowth that would be require more than one visit. The owner that she refers too is a Senior National Color Educator for John Paul Mitchell systems & has 50 years of hair coloring experience. The client explained to the stylist & the owner that she had been in a coma for 6 weeks from a drug overdose, hence the 6" outgrowth.  The client also stated that she had bald spots from laying in the coma. Another business owner in our plaza, who is a client, recommended her & was present during EVERY conversation with this client. Never did the owner ever yell at her. The client admits herself that her hair was in real bad shape, we are hairstylists, not miracle workers. The other business owner who recommended her, that I spoke of, has since banned her from her business due to her irrationality. We have been in business at this location for almost 20 years & strive hard to please all our customers. We have a great reputation in town & will go to any means to make a client happy. Since the client seems to know all about hair & what products we use, she should also be smart enough to know what we can or cannot do to hair. Professionally, we will not do any service that we feel would be damaging to the clients hair. A clients opinion is always very important, but not always accurate.

Review: It was time for me to get a my roots touched up so I went to Cut Loose My hair is platinum blonde and I told the owner I wanted to stay platinum blonde and that I had about 3 to 4 inches of roots because it had been about 5 months since I had gotten my hair touched up because I was having thyroid problems and I was worried about my hair getting damaged from the bleach. She told me that they do not use bleach in there salon at all that they use Paul Mitchell Dual Purpose Lightener and that it would not damage my hair or turn out yellow.I also told her that I had a photo shoot in a week so I did not want my hair to look yellow and I wanted the color to match the rest of my hair. The stylist and the owner said that it would not be a problem that they could get my hair platinum with the Dual Purpose Lightener and then toning it after.I paid $95 and tipped and bought conditioner to help keep my hair blonde. They deep conditioned it for me too. It was wet when I left and it looked yellow they told me to just use purple shampoo and that when it dried it would not be yellow but it was 3 different tones of yellowish next day when I woke up so I called the salon and the had me come in and look and it and the owner said there was nothing she could do she told me it was yellow because I waited so long to wait to get my roots done and to just use purple shampoo.I keep using the purple shampoo and it was still 3 different tones of yellow so I went it and talk to one of the hair stylist and they told me to keep using the purple shampoo and more days and it. I called and talked to the owner and the hair stylist who did my hair I told them both that my hair was still 3 different tones of yellow they told me to come in and that they could fix it. When I got there the stylist said she would tone my hair the owner then came over and light said that they could fix it but I would have to pay more money and then the owner stating cussing me out and said its my fault I asked for a refund or if they would fix it.Desired Settlement: Since the owner would not fix my hair for free and I am not willing to pay more money for there mistake. I want a full refund of my $95 that I paid to get my hair done. The stylist can keep the tip and I don't want to return the product that I bought. I already went to another salon and paid to have my hair fixed because I do not want to go back to that salon again because the owner was so rude to me and cussed me out and told me it was all my fault that my hair was 3 different tone of yellow.
