Warning: Considering Cutarelli Vision - I Wouldn't If I Were You!
After 3 years or so, I am re-sharing in this (lengthy) complaint, the god-awful experience that I had with Cutarelli Vision. Let me premise it with this: They reached out to me and offered a $200.00 visa card with the caveat that I remove my original post in order to receive the um, uh - "gift". (Remember, THEY reached out to me after THREE years had passed) I have been trying to get along without the use of my left eye, since after the surgery that Cutarelli performed. I agreed to the stipulations, and therefore removed the complaint. I was promised that it was not a scam, and that they'd be sending the so-called gift card out that day. The Visa card never came! If this is any indication of what to expect from this place of business, then their word and their work cannot and should not be trusted. P.S. To this day, I am STILL suffering from their "work" and lack of expertise. You've been forewarned.

Here is the original posting that occurred about 3 years ago: ["I didn’t have such a pleasant experience at Cutarelli Vision as the rest of the folks posting kudos. I am still suffering with issues that worsened, beginning with the day of the surgery."]

P.S. Not one time did I request a refund of the $5500 (paid in full) for the surgery on my left eye. I did my best to take my lumps like a man, attempting only to move on with my life, accepting what took place three years ago. It is Cutarelli who reached out to me to continue in their low-level practices. They actually had the gall to re-open an already sore and "unhealed wound", to once again not keep their word. Quite disturbing and very disappointing. I suggest finding another doctor or source.

Revdex.com:
the business I have referenced in my complaint above has resolved an issue and made it satisfactory to me. It would be great if the above post could be removed entirely. Thank you.

Trying to remove this post as the business has satisfied my displeasure. Unable to remove. Thank you.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me
Sincerely,
*** ***

The patient was seen for a free consultation She scheduled a surgery and placed a nonrefundable deposit of $ She then prepaid the remaining balance on or around the day of surgery The day of intended surgery, we did our calibrations of the laser that would be best for her
That day the laser did not meet the calibrations specifications that we would want for her best procedure outcome The laser did not 'break down.' We have higher expectations that the manufacturer's specifications, and if we dont see the machine, in its self checks and calibrations, to meet OUR specs we call the certified laser technician and do not proceed until they do The laser technicians are employed, trained dispatched and controlled by the laser manufacturers; all lasers and companies are like this, and the same technicians service the multiple lasers and practices in *** There is no way around this monopoly on service that they have We can control our tolerances for the technology specifications, and our expectations are high not minimal We did not do surgery that day, and this patient was rescheduled. This woman then demanded a refund on the basis that she was no longer comfortable with our practice, citing incorrect web reports It has always been our policy that the $deposit is not refundable, but the surgery fee was refunded She then took to *** to post a review in order to slander me and my practice on social media and to coerece, by having an incorrect information about malpractice and broken machine Since then our practice manager has been replaced by *** *** *** and this issue has reached an new level. What I would like to suggest is a phone call between *** and the patient and myself, so that her concerns are addressed and the record is set straight We understand she doesnt want *** with us, and we dont really want that ourselves

[redacted] sent an email to me. I called him twice, once alone and anothe time with office manager.  We agreed to waive all insurance charges. We offered a procedure at no charge.  The new office administrator [redacted] is followign through on this. **
