[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The owner wasn't being truthful I have done nails in the past and I know that the Gel polish should last longer than one week For example, I have gone to other places and the polish has lasted longer than one week, despite the fact that I have done activities I had asked the owner how long the Gel usually will last and she confirmed that it should last about weeks I went back a week later showing her that the Gel polish didn't last as she had stated it would and I wanted her to or fix the nail She was not willing to fix it and said that I would have to pay for the full price again I feel that I was deserving a refund of some sort, whether that be monetary or her to fix the nail but she was not willing to do either That is why I proceeded to tell her to take it all off and she said that would be $to do In her reply, she stated that she would do the nail touch up and put top Gel over and charge $for that service but while I was there, that was not offered to me Otherwise, I would have been willing to do that I went to this location to get my nails done and expected that they get done to my liking I was not satisfied and feel that I am deserving a refund of some kind because I am not a satisfied customer While I was there I never asked for the total amount to be refunded What I originally had wanted was for her to fix it but she was not accommodating and said that I must pay again, which I don't think is fair Regards, [redacted]

Diep H[redacted] June 8, 2016 Dear [redacted], , I am Diep H[redacted] (Nikki) as the owner of Cute Nails to response the disagreement of client named [redacted]. I am not agreeing to refund full or part of ‘Gel manicure’ with the following reasons: This is the serviced work, the times and supplies which have been spent and could not be return. The cycle of nail service is about two weeks. After a week, if the nails are less shining or damage 5% or 10%, that is normal. At the first complained letter client said “ … She proceeded to tell me it would cost me $8 to fix it and I don’t feel that I should have to pay for a service that wasn’t done properly or to my liking. …”. However, in the second complained letter she said “…In her reply, she stated that she would do the nail touch up and put top Gel over and charge $8 for that service but while I was there, that was not offered to me. Otherwise, I would have been willing to do that. …” . she complained me about it, but she conflicts herself. If you have any concerns or questions, please let me know via my email [redacted].com or phone ###-###-####. Thank you Diep H[redacted]/Dong T[redacted]

I am Diep H[redacted]) as the owner of Cute Nails. In this type of business as small business, all of the works or operations I am the one who takes care of. As the complaint letter, complainer complains about not professional. I do not think I do have enough funds to hire receptionist to invite...

and welcome customers. I am the one who do all or most of the works from receptionist to clean the store at the end of work day. When we introduce to customer, the Gel Polish last longer than regular Polish. It is last about two weeks (Not at least two weeks). After polishing Gel for customer, if she is not happy with it, we take it off at that time and not charged the Gel. However, we have to charge other services if she has. If the customer do not pays for other services which she get, then this is the last service for that customer. After two or three days, if Gel Polish is come off entirely nail or part of it. It is depended on the large or small we redo or touch up without charged. In the case, if customer complains via phone, I am not promise any and request customer taking picture and return within a week from last service. In the case of [redacted], she is back at one week. I was busy at that time and not at my desk. Because of not wanting her to wait long, I asked her to get close to my place where I served other customer. She showed me the come off at the tip of her nail. If I did not hold her hand and tried to see closely I could not see it. There is hairline at the top of the nails (four nails). The damage of her Gel Polish is about 5%. I was explaining to her that it is normal. It is getting old (not shine and look new) after a week of service. Also, I told her to wait one more week to come back to have a new service (take off, manicure and Gel Polish: $30) If she wants to get serve at that time, I could only do nail touch up and put top Gel over (charge is $8). With my explanations, she was not happy and asking me to take off her Gel and payback her paid ($25). I had to say sorry I could not do that way. Because the service already done and could not return. More words for you Mrs. [redacted], with young people who have more hand works such as typing or other activities, then the nail polishes are easy damages. There are lots of tips or tricks trying to get their money back. For instance, a customer gets her nails service on Friday for her one week vacation, or any special occasions, she has worn it on after coming back she feel that she does not need to wear it. She tries to find or dig a small mistake to get her money back. Moreover, I have a way keep track the worked activities within two weeks in order if any complaint I will pin point to who serves who to protect customers. If you have any concerns or questions, please let me know via my email [redacted] or phone [redacted]. Thank you Diep H[redacted]

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: The owner wasn't being truthful.  I have done nails in the past and I know that the Gel polish should last longer than one week.  For example, I have gone to other places and the polish has lasted longer than one week, despite the fact that I have done activities.  I had asked the owner how long the Gel usually will last and she confirmed that it should last about 2 weeks.  I went back a week later showing her that the Gel polish didn't last as she had stated it would and I wanted her to re-do or fix the nail.  She was not willing to fix it and said that I would have to pay for the full price again.  I feel that I was deserving a refund of some sort, whether that be monetary or her to fix the nail but she was not willing to do either.  That is why I proceeded to tell her to take it all off and she said that would be $8 to do.  In her reply, she stated that she would do the nail touch up and put top Gel over and charge $8 for that service but while I was there, that was not offered to me.  Otherwise, I would have been willing to do that.  I went to this location to get my nails done and expected that they get done to my liking.  I was not satisfied and feel that I am deserving a refund of some kind because I am not a satisfied customer.  While I was there I never asked for the total amount to be refunded.  What I originally had wanted was for her to fix it but she was not accommodating and said that I must pay again, which I don't think is fair.
Regards,
