When we recieved the customers complaint I called [redacted] and we arranged for him and his dad, ***, to come and sit down with me and discuss the problem The truck wasn't running good and was at a dealership in Brigham CityWe talked and decided have it towed to our Dodge store in Layton to our mechanics could look at it I did some research on the truck, and we decided to get together again on 11/21/at 9: After talking we decided that we are going to try and find [redacted] another truck and trade the other one in Thanks again Danny L [redacted] ###-###-####

I have reviewed the documents that we have concerning this complaintOn the contract that was signed by *** *** there is a down payment of that was not collected at the time of saleAs far as a deposit we never received one to hold the vehicleThe contract was signed by ***
and the down payment was never receivedAs far as the deposit is concernedwe did waive that and didn't require one to hold the vehicle for her sonThe down payment is not considered a depositThe down payment gets subtracted from the contract that goes to the bankWe get funded from the bank the amount listed on the bottom of the contractTo make us whole we need to collect the down payment from the customerI would imagine there was a little bit of a misunderstanding between the dealership and the parties involved with the purchase of the truckIf you would like to try and resolve the issue you can call me I am the Manager at Layton Hills Dodge Justin S*** at ###-###-#### Thanks, Justin

brought her Dodge Intrepid in to Layton Hills Chrysler, Jeep,
Dodge, Ram and we completed a Lube Oil and Filter Service on April 25th at
milesCustomer contacted the dealership on April 28th stating that all
the oil drained out of the engine and she was in Provo at an independent
facility looking at the cause
We towed the vehicle
from Provo to our Service Department at our expense to diagnose the concern
Upon inspection we found that a longer than oil filter was installed and
when MrsK*** drove over a speed bump it tore the bottom of the filter off and drained the oilAfter the
vehicle was driven for a longer period with no oil the engine locked up
We agreed to replace the
engine with a pre-owned engine of the same mileage and make at our expenseWe
did not authorize a rental vehicle for the customer to be paid for by us at any
timeAfter replacing the engine assembly and test driving the vehicle several
miles we contacted MrsK*** and informed her or was ready
When customer arrived to
pick up the vehicle they presented us with a rental vehicle bill to be
reimbursed forWe declined due to numerous conversations with both Mrand
MrsK*** stating we would not supply a rental car for themMrsK*** arranged
a meeting with herself, her daughter, Robert H*** (Service Manager) and Kent
L*** (Director of Fixed Operations) to discuss the issue
MrsK*** stated she
had pre existing warranty coverage on the previous motor, she had the bill from
the repair facility in Provo do diagnose her vehicle and she had the rental car
bill After discussing the issue at
length Kent L*** agreed to reimbursed her for the diagnoses of the repair facility
(Previously agreed to), to honor her extended warranty on her engine and
guaranty coverage same as it would as long as she would bring in a copy to add
to her records, and to reimburse half of her rental car bill She was not agreeable to the rental car
decision and said she would contact Kent or Robert back to arrange another meeting
to let us know if she would accept what was offeredShe called Robert H***
back and said if we would not pay all of her demands she would not accept any
offer from usThat is where we stand right now
We
would be happy to honor our offer to MrsK*** as long as it resolves this
situation in fullWe feel we have been fair in accepting our responsibility in
the situation and have honored what we said we would from the beginning, pluss

Layton Hills Dodge had an appointment with Mr. [redacted] on 4/13/15 at 4:00 PM.  Mr. [redacted] did not show up.  Since we have called Mr. [redacted] multiple times on his mobile number and have only been able to leave a message.  We have never been able to get ahold of him.We are prepared...

to take care of this for Mr. [redacted] if he will contact us or show up to another appointment.Thank You[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:  I had a month to 8 days without car. In that month they did nothing to solve my situation.  I have a car because I need to go to work and other activities. It was very traumatic be without a car, I have to go to work very early (4:am) , I had to be bothering my friends and family who also have their obligations and were doing  me a favor and take me and bring me home. For this month I could not do my routine in my life and I had to can not do anything. My life was change. Therefore me that reason I was forced to rent a car in the first week 2 days and the 3rd week 3 days a total of 5 days. Frustrated, tired and desperate not know anything about my car and had to go to work every day.When they gave me  my car back, I had only 4 days and the engine light turn on, indicating that the machine had a problem and  I took my car back and it was 8  more days without a car. And they do not want to reimburse the total costs that a company the size of the is minimal. I dont accept to reimburse me only 50% , when they were what hurt me and damaged my car. For me its not fair and they refuse to accept what I am asking. On the other hand they put the machine is 50,000 thousand miles more than my car had and that is five years less performance. And it is the case that the light was kindled in 4 days. I can be sure that the machine is good.? I wrote to you Revdex.com for the other people know what king of company is that and I m not the only one to have had a horrible experience with that company.  My hope is that other people know that company before doing business with them. A dishonest company.  I "ll fix this problem is in the court and I have a date to appear. Just want you to know this problem. And thank you very much for everthing.

This is incorrect information. I actually called the dealership and let them know I was not coming into their office until I had received a second opinion. The call was placed on Monday at 2:30PM. This is another example of how the dealership is not honest in their dealings.  With this information I will not be going back to them for any issue and as far as I'm concerned the Revdex.com can close this case. I do NOT work with dishonest people.-[redacted]

Spoke with customer and resolved all outstanding issues. Replacement tire has been obtained and to be installed later today when new replacement lugs arrive.Selling dealer failed to provide locking lug key with vehicle when it was originally leased to Mr [redacted]. We will obtain 4 non-locking...

lugs to replace the ones without a key. Joshua will be keeping customer informed of the status of the repairs as they are completed today.Skyler C[redacted]
