Cutter Chevrolet Reviews (13)

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Cutter Chevrolet is a certified service repair shop. Mike M[redacted], Service Manager, spoke with Mr. R[redacted] and assured him that all work performed and paid for was in fact done as per the service repair order. He offered to have the vehicle brought back to the dealership to do a complimentary brake...

inspection to ensure the customer’s satisfaction. During the second visit, it was recommended but not necessary to have the rear drums resurfaced to eliminate break squeak. Mr. R[redacted] agreed, and paid for the resurface of drums. It was also noted that no service was needed to be done in order to pass the state safety inspection as Mr. R[redacted] was informed by a third party and therefore a safety inspection was performed at the dealership.

My apologies for the delay in response. Ms. [redacted] concerns have been rectified as of October 15, 2014. We have submitted trade payoff to Flagship.

Cutter Chevrolet, when dealing with the mainland, normally has to call before 1pm HI standard time to get an approval, in this case it was not feasible. When diagnosis is completed, we usually have to wait until the next working day to call the mainland. In customer, New's, situation, parts became a...

factor and there are delays when its not in stock. Time seems to be the issue and we tried our best complete the job in a timely manner. Though we feel we had no control over procedures and times in question, we will honor customer's request to cover the cost of the clips, and in good faith, the $50 deductible.

We are aware of the customers concerns and have honored his request to resolve the matter by applying his $2000 down payment and trade in value from the [redacted] to the purchase of a new [redacted].

In regards to Mrs. [redacted] complaint, monthly payments and types of vehicle financed are determined by the banks involved along with the customers credit. If her payments are as certain amount it is in accordance to what the bank charged for interest. As far as the tires go we have record that on...

10/29/2014 with 75K miles we changed both front tires AND replaced the two keyed lug nuts and studs. Now we have no control over how the tire wears from the time we installed it and after we sell it. When we say we don't cover tires because of wear and tear we aren't talking about how that specific tire looks we are talking how a certain items are affected directly based on how a customer driving conditions are.

Customer's vehicle was diagnosed the same day and he declined all recommended repairs. Upon receipt of the recall part, the next day, we completed repairs and released vehicle back to customer for pick up.

Cutter Chevrolet informs customers that they can special order a vehicle and choose NOT to have the [redacted] product installed. We understand automakers take steps to protect vehicles from rusting but their warranties only cover if a vehicle rusts from the inside out. [redacted] is an...

environmental sealant that protects vehicles from rusts not caused by accidents. Additionally, this product is backed with a 7 year unlimited mile warranty. The mainland offers similar products but they don’t have the extreme salt water elements like Hawaii does, which would explain why our salesperson would highly recommend this product to our customers. [redacted] has gotten so popular that more and more customers are requesting the product on their new and used car purchases. We would recommend that Mr. [redacted] uses his auto insurance for body damages. [redacted] is not an auto insurance warranty which seems to be what Mr. [redacted]’s complaint is about. We understand he is looking for a refund but this product is non-refundable and he still has the ability to use his warranty until it expires. Cutter Chevrolet is also one of three Chevrolet dealerships on Oahu and two of the three are located in Honolulu.

Good Afternoon,At Approximately 3:10 pm today, Customer Relations Manager Tiana I[redacted] contacted Mrs. Kari L[redacted] via telephone to explain what corrective action has already occurred and additional steps to make sure there is a satisfactory resolution. Cutter Chevrolet has been in contact with GM...

Financial since the situation was initially reported and have confirmed that the outstanding 2 month late balance has been waived. In addition, GM Financial has submitted a request to the Credit Bureaus to remove the issue from the customers credit history. This process should take approximately 30 business days to complete. All email correspondence and documents are available at the dealership supporting our actions and efforts. As this is an unfortunate situation, Cutter Chevrolet has offered to pay the $220.00 balance reported by GM Financial pertaining to wear and tear issues when the vehicle was inspected. We hope that all of the noted items are satisfactory and please contact us with anymore questions or concerns.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:  We were not given an option to for the [redacted] package, as we were informed that all of Cutter's cars have the package pre-installed.   In addition, the way that the sales rep promoted the product, we were led to believe that minor body damage would be covered.  More importantly, Cutter grossly overcharges for the product.  The [redacted] package isn't worth anything close to $1,200.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
The car was not looked at the next day, it took several days and many voice mails prove that the car was not returned the next day nor looked at the next day.
Sincerely,

Customer [redacted] traded in his [redacted] on October 24, 2014. He purchased a [redacted]. Financing was secured through a local credit union that the customer fully understood he would need to become a member said credit union. Sometime after the purchase the customer,...

being military,  was called into the field which delayed him to become a member, causing a delay in the funding,  which ultimately delayed his payoff being sent. In the business, we do not pay off the trade vehicle until funding of the purchased vehicle. However with all that being said on December 5th 2014 we mailed his payoff check well within a reasonable timeline with all things considered. In addition, the customer still owes a down payment of $1000.00
