from: Efrem P <***>to: "***" <***>cc: Efrem P <***>date: May 11, 2020, 12:04 PMsubject: IDHello This is in response to ID.I have a 6 month contract with customer, beginning May 1st and ending in October 30th 2020. The customer requested services start in April even though the contract does not start until May. So we completed spring cleanup April 10th. I did respond to her requests and started my services to her in April 2020 at NO ADDITIONAL COST. At this time she also wanted me to replace her furnace filter and replace light bulbs in the crawl space, so we did NO EXTRA COST. We returned April 24th to start irrigation system, I did leave her a voice mail stating the irrigation system is ready for operation, she would need to turn on the controller herself as no answer at the house door. As we returned on the 28th of April to begin our work my hired helper was trimming grass as stated on contract, the problem is the flowering vegetation has NO border to separate the grass from flowers. So the flowers are intertwined with the blades of grass which makes trimming very difficult. She stated the trimmer was a precise tool and this can be done, The string trimmer is a gas powered tool that is far from precise, 8 to 18 inches is a realistic trimming swath with a very steady operator and no obstacles. I never did insult the customer or her property, what was said (she wanted an elegant property that is not possible with the amount of money spent). I did respond after this day, she would need to find a new contractor to work on her property. Frustrated YES, angry NO! We completed the tasks trimming, mowing, fertilizer, blow off all walks and driveway. As far as the faucet frozen, this is an external faucet that is connected by way of garden hose from the house spicket. We have no written agreement that I would be responsible for the water spickets or any other watering source other than the underground watering system. She is a home owner as many others and I believe the responsibility of a home owner is to perform maintenance or repairs on their own ability or time. If this cannot be done because of physical impairment, lack of knowledge, proper tools, or any other factor, then contractors are needed along with cost. Please pay your trusted local contractors for needs accordingly as stated on contracts. Thank you for the opportunity to work on the property however I have decided to no longer perform any work on this particular property. This customer requestedthe filter in her crawl space be changed out (I completed no charge and not in a contract)light bulbs be replaced in crawl space (I completed no charge and not in a contract)Water faucet to be fixed (this was not part of the contract)I apologize for any discrepancy between this customer and my business and workers. I am going to waive any expenses that were accrued to date. The 6 month contract $1200.00 is null and void and the customer does not owe this business any monetary expenses for the work that was completed on her property in April and May 2020. Thank you,Cuttin’ It Close Efrem P
