Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I think the response from this business speaks for itself Based on the service I received, I would discourage others from using the landscaping services of this businessI would also encourage the owners of this business to rethink their customer service practices, including project folland complaint resolutionFor me, much of the investment I made to my landscape has been lost, due to the slow response and lack of expertise of this company

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.First, the response from Cutting Edge contains personally identifiable information (names)I request that any names be taken out of the complaint and replaced with the word "Customer" Cutting Edge's response makes it obvious that they are making every excuse to blame the customer rather than accept the responsibility of a poor job In recent days, I have had a neighbor who uses Cutting Edge express some of the same problems, especially sod that has died despite being replaced by Cutting Edge I am afraid to allow Cutting Edge back on my property for fear they may destroy more of my landscape, so at this point a full refund for the sod purchase and installation is the only acceptable remedyI have attached photos taken mid-July of the partially dead sod and Cutting Edge's attempt to fix the pooling water

Fowler VW instructed me to file a dispute with the credit bureaus, which I did. Equifax refused the dispute and stated I needed to contact Fowler VW. I relayed this to the GM and am waiting for a response.

We will take care of the customer and make sure everything we promised is fulfilled.  I will personally reach out the customer to further explain the process of the TDI buyback and make sure the customer does not have to make double payments. I can be reached at [redacted]@fowlervw.com or office...

number of [redacted]. This seems to be more of a misunderstanding than anything. We ensure our customer's complete satisfaction with the entire process of buying and owning a vehicle. Thank you. [redacted]

We never blamed the customer MR [redacted],  you cut off all communication with us not us.  Mr. [redacted] asked us to stay off his property we never refused.  The customer you speak of does not exist, yet another LIE.  We will not refund the money, we deal with living things and we were not allowed to handle them in a timely manner per your request.  We made ample attempts after the July pictures to handle the problem.  Now 3 months after last communication he wants it resolved, he should have handled it in a timely manner where the LIVING things could have been dealt with.  We believe we did our best after the July photos to remedy the problem, we fixed the irrigation, we fixed the leak, we repaired the water feature, we told him what was wrong with his sod and what was needed to fix it.  What else were we supposed to do.  Our settlement offer is nothing.  Thanks Mr. [redacted].

To whom it may concern and Mr. [redacted],There is not much validity to Mr. [redacted]'s complaint.  I will address each issue line by line.  Let me first address the past due bill.  This bill was for Lawn Maintenance, a separate division of our company which is not related to the Landscape job...

we did for him.  He requested Lawn Maintenance services beginning in June.  We serviced his yard bi weekly on the following dates: 06/25 07/09 07/24 08/06.  He has yet to pay for his last service.  He asked us to stay off his property around the date of 08/11/2014 so I subsequently canceled his maintenance service.  As far as the sod being dead which was his first point.  Mrs. [redacted], had already commented to us that she had seen worms on the property.  That was the cause for the sod to look dead.  The [redacted]'s live on a golf course which regular sprays for army worms causing the army worms to find nearby grass to attack.  We service 2 of Mr. [redacted]'s neighbors and they had the same complaint but allowed us to treat the issue and their grass recovered.  If Mr. [redacted] had believed what we were telling him about the worms, his sod would have made it.  The fact that Mrs. [redacted] had noticed them and had stated to us that her dog even had been seeing eating them tells me Mr. [redacted] was in denial about the issue.  The pooling of the water in the backyard was caused by the leak that we fixed, it just needed to dry out after the repair was made.  This was the statement from the superintendent on the job on 08/11/2014:
I was there last Monday to fix leak in back by water
feature and fix zone that was not working. On Tuesday I returned with [redacted] to
finish fixing zone by steps and wire up new wire to controller. On Wednesday I
fixed 2 heads on zone by steps to completely fix all irrigation issues. I
checked everyday (8/4-8/8) on leak in back to make sure it was drying up and no
longer a problem. On Monday, Mrs. [redacted] mentioned the dogs were eating some of
the leaves on the plants and we talked about the possibility of cutworms or
army worms eating and destroying the back sod area. She mentioned she had heard
of the worms and googled it and remembered her dogs eating some of these.
The biggest claim in this complaint which lacks no validity is that Mr. [redacted]'s response time was very slow.  I can send you every email we exchanged.  Mr. [redacted] would email Mr. [redacted] outside of business hours, he could have waited till Monday to responded to an email sent on Friday night but  me would respond immediately instead.  On July 14th is when Mr. [redacted] notified us of the leak in the backyard and of the sod looking dead. This email was sent at 12:08 PM and Mr. [redacted] responded at 12:15 PM letting him know he would check on it.  Our superintendent went by and made the repairs checked on the grass.  We believed the issues to be taken care of.  On August 2, 2014 at 4:36 PM (SATURDAY) Mr. [redacted] emailed us photographs letting us know that the issues were not fixed. At 5:03 PM that same day SATURDAY Mr. [redacted] informed Mr. [redacted] that he had his word that we would remedy the issues in the following week.  Mr. [redacted] had requested the issues be fixed in 8 days and Mr. [redacted] clearly told him that he could not make that promise.  This is the email were Mr. [redacted] told him of the Army Worms and told him that we would do a soil sample. Mr. [redacted] also requested that we handle this matter calmly and that they work together as they had during construction and he assured him everything would be done.  On August 3 at 10:33 AM (SUNDAY) Mr. [redacted] obviously unsatisfied with Mr. [redacted]'s response sent a threatening email to Mr. [redacted] giving him two choices of what could be done.  At this time he told Mr. [redacted] that we were not authorized to preform any work on his property.  At 11:35 am still on a Sunday Mr. [redacted] responded and assured him once again the work would be done and  told him it would be done by August 15th.  At this time Mr. [redacted] also told him that he would not be responding anymore on a Sunday. On August 6th at 12:00 PM after two days accessing the property Mr. [redacted] sent Mr. [redacted] an update on what his staff had done at his home over the past 3 days.  He explained that they had run a new wire to the controller of the irrigation remedying the problem with some of the plants not getting watered. He told him that he was very hopeful that they had found the leak and had repaired it and that the area was going to take some time to dry out .  Mr. [redacted] also told him that he had army worms. At this time is when Mr. [redacted] said he was pursuing legal actions.  He was not satisfied with any of the additional work we had done or our attempts to address his concerns.  If he cares to debate any of this I can show him his emails. All of this should show you that Mr. [redacted] handled every issue in a timely manner including during the weekends when we are closed. The next point Mr. [redacted] made was that Mr. [redacted] never inspected his team's work which once again has no validity.  Mr. [redacted] visited this job site daily. I hope that you can see by all the points made above that Cutting Edge Lawn Service and staff made every attempt to make Mr. [redacted] happy but he was so angry he would not give us a chance to fix anything.  We will not issue a refund for a very good reason.  When you ban us from your property especially when we are trying to fix an issue we no longer guarantee our plants or our work.  If we would have been allowed to continue monitoring the issues we would not be in this position and would have gladly done anything to fix the issues as we had done the whole time.  We completely the job we were hired for and made every attempt to fix the army worms and the leaks until we were asked not to come on the property and told we were being sued.
